Jill Zarin Doubts Her Friendship With Bethenny Was Ever Real

Jill Zarin is having serious doubts her long-defunct friendship with former 'Real Housewives of New York City' co-star Bethenny Frankel was ever real and tells me it was just a "TV romance" that went bad. Real bad.

"The truth is, I don't even remember being friends with her anymore," Jill tells me on my HDNet show. "You know, when I see her picture and when I see her on TV, I don't even remember our relationship. Which kinda says something."

The pair's friendship went down in flames during the third season of the hit show, with numerous on-air blowups leading to a full scale feud between the two. It probably didn't help that Jill accidentally broke the news of the birth of Bethenny's baby last year on Twitter.

But after many attempts to patch things up, it's pretty clear things are kaput for good for these ex-BFF's and Jill tells me she's fine with it because they didn't exactly have long history. "People thought we came into the show with that romance," she said. "We didn't. We fell in love on TV and we got a divorce on TV."

Now a year later, she's not even sure she and the 'Bethenny Ever After' star were chums to begin with! "It was real! Well, I thought the friendship was real. Clearly, it was not."

Just last week I asked Countess LuAnn de Lesseps if she missed having Bethenny around and she she gave me a rousing "NO!" in response.

jill is a spoiled brat who has never grown up. Bethanny is a huge success and a delightfully funny woman. Not to mention her talent, her wonderful family including cookie. Move over Jill your not the star here, you don't deserve to be either. Bethanny never deceived you, she was honest and up front.

I recently re-watched the 1st season of NY Housewives & noticed that Luann & Bethenny were pretty friendly. By season 2, etc. that seemed to wane & I think that was due to Jill. I would like to think perhaps Bethenny & Jill could have made up at Ramona's if Luann hadn't gotten in the way. Anyway, can't believe that Jill is still talking about this. It became clear that the more success & joy Bethenny found ate away at Jill. Jill's true colors were shown.

If Jill and Bethenny would have kept everyone out of their business, they would still be friends today! Both Luann and Kelly were jealous of Bethenny and Jill's friendship; therefore, they made matters worse by talking bad about Bethenny to Jill instead of encouraging her to talk it out with Bethenny. They knew that they could NEVER have a strong friendship like the two of them had!

Even though Bethenny and Jill have other friends, they never look as happy as when they were together. No matter what each of them say, I can DEFINITELY tell that they really do miss each other. Bethenny and Jill was the reason I tuned in every week; I really enjoyed them together.

Jill you begged for what you got. All bullies do, stop crying and grow up, move on as Bethenny has. Learn the lesson all bullies have to, you can push someone around for so long then they turn and all h... breaks lose. You lost Jill, bow out gracefully.
As for Luann, the "Countess" . She was a countess by marriage, honey you gave up the title when the divorce became final, do you really think that people think of you as a Countess? You need to grow up too.

I can't even watch this show anymore. Jill is nuts-she says she isn't going to get involved in the gossip then it's the first thing she does. She is totally ingenuous. LuAnn and Kelly are awful and pushed Bethenny to the brink. That along with the loss of her father and Jill acting like such a witch was cruel. Alex is the only one I like.
