Will Kendra Wilkinson's Natural Athleticism Bolster Her Chances on 'Dancing With The Stars'?

Agile, athletic and a kick-ass pole dancer with her own sports stripper pole on the market, reality star Kendra Wilkinson could be a contender to win the upcoming 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Rehearsing now for season 12 with her professional partner Louis Van Amstel, who also taught Kelly Osbourne and Lisa Rinna during past seasons of the ABC hit, the former Playboy model and star of E!'s hot show 'Kendra' is already hoofing up a storm.

"Kendra is a solid athlete who is a natural for 'Dancing With the Stars,'" a TV source tells PopEater. "It was just a matter of scheduling and when she would be available to take time for the show. There is a great deal of work involved. But she has the talent if she focuses on developing it."

A total tomboy who can look glam when she dresses in evening gowns, Wilkinson, 25, the wife of NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett and mother of 1-year-old Hank Baskett IV, still prefers the athletic and outdoor life to ballroom dancing and sipping mint juleps at fancy tea parties.

She discovered soccer at age 5, and over the years has made a point of learning every sport she encounters.

In addition to swimming, jogging and playing football, she loves tennis, golf and track and field. She stays fit by exercising and pole dancing and has long since lost her tough-to-shed pregnancy weight.

Her recent fitness DVD, 'Be A Knockout With Kendra,' shows her confidence and coordination, which could help immensely during the dance competition.

"It's night and day from day one and day three," she told Zap2it of 'DWTS' rehearsals. "I felt like myself on day three. I felt like a winner."

Booty shaking aside, ballroom dancing is a different beast, and the competitive athlete in Wilkinson knows she has a lot to learn.

"I'm having a blast," she told reporters. "I am working hard to develop this new skill, and I want to win."

What I like about Kendra is this; she goes for it. No matter what it is. And SHE'S HONEST. She's a good mom, and wife and I hope she wins Dancing w/ the Stars. Sure jealous "women" dislike her for varied reasons,,, but the laughs on you, SHE GETS OFF HER COUCH AND LIVES! and doesnt live on big macs and malts and sits back watching "Dancing w/ the Stars" CRITISIZING OTHERS as millions of jealous women do. Go Kendra!

They are really getting desperate , who are these people? lmao Kendra ick. Never liked her ...never liked her show. These new dancers are not stars. Should be called dancing with the losers. Guess I wont be watching it this year. I watched kendras show one time and all I seen was dog crap and pee all over the house and that was enough for me . A bunch of nobodys on the show this year. Dancing with the stars need to do better and getting real stars. It is called Dancing with the Stars. DO you see any stars? lmao

DWTS proved in its last season that it's not about talent, grace or dancing ability. Jennifer Grey deserved to win, but I had my doubts it would happen. Kendra may be the next Ginger Rogers, but the show is a popularity contest. That's how Bristol Palin managed to survive for five weeks while better dancers were voted off. If they don't like you or your partner, you're gone.

Instead of dancing, drinking & partying all the time she should be w/ her baby playing Mom like a good Mom & being a real wife .dont give this marriage much longevity. She hasnt grown up yet. I wont be watching this season either. No stars here.

how about letting the show start and then play out before the "winner" is announced. This has been the problem with the past few seasons of DWTS - we already know who the winner "should" be or "will" be before the season has started.
