Man Accused of Stalking Rose McGowan Arrested

Police have arrested a Connecticut man accused of repeatedly harassing and threatening 'Charmed' actress Rose McGowan with violence if she didn't return his love for her.

Luis Santo was taken into custody by the Derby, Conn., police department on Friday and charged with two counts each of second-degree threatening, second-degree harassment and breach of peace, The Connecticut Post reports. He is being held on $50,000 bond.

McGowan received a restraining order on Santo late last month after reporting that he had threatened her because she would not talk to him.

"He states that I am in love with him even though I never met him," McGowan said in a court doc. She also wrote that she was "severely unnerved" by the man.

It's not clear how he allegedly violated the restraining order, but the police report cites a tweet sent by a Twitter user believed to be Santo that read, "rose don't hurt me. iwill not kiddng. u will be gone."

Santo told the AP recently that he had written a script for the actress and was simply trying to get it to her.

It's funny - when I first saw the headlines for this story I thought about the character "Rose" on Two and A Half Men, who stalked Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie. I know that this is nothing to laugh about, but unfortunately it happens to everyday normal people too. And restraining orders do not work if the person you are trying to restrain is nuts.

I'm glad actress Rose McGowan is safe now! This guy is sick after he threatened her with violence if she didn't return his love for her. I love Rose because she was in Charmed but I don't know Rose herself. I just don't understand people at all!!!
