Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson Getting Serious?
Scarlett Johansson is telling friends that she's head over heels again after a short-but-romantic
vacation getaway to Mexico with
Sean Penn. "She thinks Sean is amazing. Sure, he's an incredible actor, but there's depth. He's an amazing human being who cares about politics and the world," a friend of the young actress tells me.
The pair were spotted dining together in Cabo San Lucas three evenings ago and have since returned to Los Angeles via private plane for Scarlett to start filming her new movie with Matt Damon.
"If she didn't have to return to work she would still be with him," an insider tells me. "She doesn't care about the age difference." -- He's 50, she's 26 -- "In fact that's what makes him so attractive."
Sources tell me that after being married a few years to someone "as childish as Ryan," it's nice to be with someone mature. OUCH! We'll let that one sit for a second.
The pair were first spotted together four weeks ago at a party in LA celebrating 'Black Swan.' They were even seen eating together in public with her legs draped over his lap.
Both camps are staying mum on the budding courtship, but there are fresh reports that "S-Squared" are planning a trip to Haiti in the spring. In fact, his passion for humanitarian causes is part of the reason she was attracted to him in the first place.
"He's exactly the kind of guy she wants," the friend tells me. "She talks to him every day and can't wait until she has a break in film so she can run away with him."
We know there are plenty of you that wish they'd just disappear the next time they run off, but I'm hoping to see more of these two!

"it's nice to be with someone mature." Sean Penn mature?! That's a laugh! This relationship is a train wreck that'll be as bad as Penn's hair.
I usually make an funny example of waking up next to a super-homely woman, but It can work both ways! when Scarlett wakes up, SHE has to roll over and look at possibly the homliest actor since Jack Palance !! I love Sean, and certainly hope she does too--enough to close her eyes and act like he's another brad Pitt.

Can't he afford a hair brush with all the money he's made with his films?!? Not impressive. Granted, I like most of his movies, but if the gossip rags have any truth to them, then he could treat women better in his life. Look how many have ended up leaving him from his allegedly emotional and/or physical abuse...Madonna, Robin Wright, and maybe others. Treat women better Sean, and you might find your love life more enjoyable for all concerned. Humanitarianism starts at home.

I can't stand her anymore! She is spoiled, needy, very high maintance (Penn will get tired of that). So, Ryan is childish,
what does that make her, a toddler that has to be held by the hand of a 50 something year old man. Ryan is always working, has an impeccable work ethic. Made a lot more money than she did last year, but according to her he is childish. In my book, she is an idiot. Yes, she will go to Haiti with Penn, she has nothing else to do, she has a movie for 2012 and one for 2014....

I have loathed this squashed-faced arrogant bratty girl since she said that Ewan McGregor "kissed like a teenage boy". Like SHE ever kissed one. And speaking of maturity, he married a woman five years older at 24 after a year of dating, and is still married 16 years later. Maybe this brat should walk the walk first.
