Miley Cyrus Plays Justin Bieber, Fergie on 'SNL'

It had to happen. All season, cast newcomer Vanessa Bayer has been parodying Miley Cyrus in recurring 'Saturday Night Live' sketches. And this weekend, with Cyrus trying her hand at hosting 'SNL,' the 18-year-old got to share a 'Miley Cyrus Show' scene with Bayer -- coming face to face with the shrill, pleased-with-herself caricature the comedienne has perfected since the spoof's debut last fall.

The former 'Hannah Montana' star brought just the right amount of swagger to her Justin Bieber impersonation (surely the 'swagger coach' was a big help), and things got pretty meta when Bayer mentioned salvia to "Justin" and tried (unsuccessfully) to get Cyrus to utter the sketch's "Pretty cool!" tagline.

Later in the 'SNL' broadcast, Cyrus belted her heart out as Fergie, and gyrated onstage at inopportune moments to crash a hilarious segment ostensibly devoted to two lesser-known Black Eyed Peas: Taboo (Andy Samberg) and apl.d.ap (Kenan Thompson).

I think it's because she had another skit to do right after this one, so they may decided to just leave the makeup on for time.

Regarding the Miley snl thing. Miley; stick to what you do best whatever that is. And - a serious question - did the guy that did the "Amanda Show" take over snl or did the guy that has always done it have an I. Q. reduction operation.

I caught only part of SNL. I have not watched it since the original cast members all left or died. I only wanted to see how Miley did. What I did see I thought was pretty cute. My fave was the face cream and cd. She actually looks GREAT in big hair! LOL!

Miley did great, and she has grown up to be a beautiful young lady. And the part of Billy Ray, was played perfect, just like the real Billy.
As far as Justin goes, I dont see why parents dont like the boy, he is a good role model, not that I think any parent should use strangers for their kids to look up to, but they do.
The only thing hes done wrong so far, was to use his mindle finger to the paps. If parents dont want their daughter listening to him, they can always go get some of Kayne West music for them to hear. Kayne would love girls buying his 'music'.
Justin reminds me of Donny Osmond back in the 70s, nothing wrong with that.

They pigeon holed her into doing more singing than acting. Overall, I gave the show a D. The cold opening of Charlie Sheen wasn't funny and neither was Miley. The midpoint with Weekend Update did little to swing the momentum back around as it too was lackluster.
