Director Guy Ritchie and Girlfriend Expecting First Child

'Sherlock Holmes' director and Madonna's ex Guy Ritchie and his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley are expecting a baby.

News of the World broke the story and is reporting that Ainsley is due to give birth to the couple's first child in early September.

The Daily Mail is reporting that this will be Ritchie's second biological child. He has a 10-year-old son with Madonna and is also the father to David, 6, Madonna's adopted son from Malawi.

A source told the Daily Mail, "Jacqui was crying with joy when she found out. They went on holiday because Guy is desperate for her to take it easy. He won't let her do anything more strenuous than argue over baby names."

A friend of the couple was also quoted saying, "They have been keen to start a family. We expect to hear wedding bells next year."

Ritchie, 42, and Ainsley, 29, have been together for more than a year, but they had kept their romance a secret until she was caught leaving his London home in June last year.

It has also been reported that Ainsley, who is a model, will be selling her apartment and moving into Ritchie's $9.75 million mansion, once renovations are completed.

congrats, guy. you deserve a good marriage and new baby. please have her quit smoking now, and continue being a non smoker.

beyond that, i hope things go well for you both, your new baby, and your other child. hope you get married before the baby's birth, for the baby's sake.

Wonderful news for Guy Ritchie and his lovely mother-to-be girlfriend. It probably was a horrible experience for him being married to Madonna, thank goodness he found a "normal" woman and may all three live happily ever after. I always thought he was adorable.

To those with the worst eyesight ever... I didn't know the UK had wide/fat/slim PINK cigs that look EXACTLY like cell phones. Makes me wonder if they burn longer and slower than regular smokes. Who knows the "cig" she has might just last up to and through the baby's delivery or longer. If so no need for Dad to hook up with the traditional cigar after the baby's entry into the world. Not to mention Dad can get the first pic of the baby using it.

I think Guy Ritchie is Scottish. Perhaps not an important distinction to those on this side of the Atlantic, but very important in the UK.

Ok I meant British!! (as opposed to American or other..). Scotland is considered part of Great Britain...
