Charlie Sheen Tells Life & Style: 'I'm Losing My Mind'

After starting what will go down in Hollywood history as the most highly publicized meltdown of all time,
Charlie Sheen is finally admitting to his problems and reaching out for help.
In the latest issue of
Life & Style, the actor admits that his life has taken a sharp decline in recent months and that, despite adamant declarations that he's "winning," his life has fallen off course.
"I'm really starting to lose my mind," says Sheen. "I'm ready to call anyone to help."
Sheen, who recently lost his job on 'Two and a Half Men,' in addition to custody of his twin sons, Bob and Max, to estranged wife
Brooke Mueller, now realizes that his lifestyle of excess has become unmanageable.
"I"m really trying to contain myself right now," says Sheen. "My lawyer wants to come over to my house and take the bullets out of my gun."
Friends are increasingly concerned about the actor's well-being, particularly since his children were removed from his home.
"It's crazy over here at the house," says a friend who was with Sheen when he learned he had been fired from his CBS show. "Charlie's losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."
The actor says his main priority is regaining custody of his sons, telling Life & Style, "I'll do anything to get them back. Now I don't give a f**k about the show or about anything [else]."
A source close to Sheen says that time is of the essence when it comes to getting Charlie's life back on track. "Anything could happen at any minute," says the source. "He's a danger to himself -- a really big danger."

Charlie, It is breaking my heart to watch all of this. This life can be really stressful and I am sure when you have money everyone wants a piece of you. They pick you apart til there is nothing left and than they move on to the next. You can beat this! Get it together and get strong for your kids and yourself. Do not let them win. You are a very talented actor and I can tell you love your children. You need to start loving yourself! I will miss you on the show and will not watch it any longer but you need to get it together! Love ya....prove everyone wrong!!!!!!

He's heading for a major collapse of some sort. I just wish he'd have it and go away already. He's a boring, tiresome egomaniac.

Charlie needs to get out of LA,and head to some household out there with some normal people and learn how to live a normal life. You know where a person lives in a normal sized house, and has bills to pay and who has a regular job to get up for and who sees regular people everyday. The poor guy has lost sight of what normalcy is. Having that kind of money available to him is a problem. Living the life he's been living is clearly not working. Charlie go out to Kansas and live with a normal family for a while, see how taking the focus off your movie star-ness,helps.

it's so sad to see someone having such a huge breakdown in public like this...the drugs he was taking were an effort at self-medicating...he's so manic now (at least when the public can see him) it makes me wonder what the depression is like when he's alone...it's clear that he needs to go into a hospital and get on the proper medication for his problem...with the way he's been talking and acting it's so clear he's bi-polar...but you can't force someone to get help if they don't want it short of having them carted off for a 72 hr. hold...and i think it's past time for that

elena... Manic Depressive doesn't work that way! When your in a manic stage, It's 24 hours a day with very little sleep and this can go on for weeks until the brain turns to the depressive state. The depressive state is when you won't hardly move at all. You sit and sleep 24 hours a day and this can last for weeks at a time!
He is NOT manic during the day and go into depressive state at night...it's long swings of either manic or the depressive states!
Martin Sheen help your son.He needs you badly.

Charlie didn't want to continue his show but was beat up by all his minions who didn't want to lose their golden goose. They told him how he was responsible for the livelihood of over 100 people and how he WAS the show. He signed on for another 2 years and then hated himself for doing so. He starts acting out and then all the same folks who had pumped up his ego turn on him and cut him to shreds. Like so many other stars Charlie first needs to rid himself of alot of the people he surrounds himself with. Then he needs to check into rehab.

Poor Charlie, I'm glad he is admitting he needs help. He is a good actor, and it would be a shame if he was not able to continue his career. However, I do think that John Stamos could join the show as a new character. I don't think anyone could actually replace Charlie, but developing a new character is feaseable. I love the woman that plays the mother. Sheshould be given a larger role in the show. Good luck to all of them.

I find this whole thing so sad. It's like Charlie doesnt know who he is. He is charlie Sheen. I mean most people like him even guys. He has been a part of my youth and want to be proud of him when my kids watch him perform. Charlie we still love you and it's never that bad that you cant get past it. One day when your feeling better and you find worth in yourself like we do, you can then look back and see how strong and good you were. All the love and support are out here, focus on that. Get well for your family and yourself.

Has anyone considered the idea that Sheen may have a brain tumor?

loss of vision, loss of feeling in a part of the body, headaches, and seizures are symptoms of a tumor...egotistical self-grandiosing rants aren't
Tumor, I don't think I've heard of that brand of Tequila?
