Charlie Sheen Tells Life & Style: 'I'm Losing My Mind'

After starting what will go down in Hollywood history as the most highly publicized meltdown of all time, Charlie Sheen is finally admitting to his problems and reaching out for help.

In the latest issue of Life & Style, the actor admits that his life has taken a sharp decline in recent months and that, despite adamant declarations that he's "winning," his life has fallen off course.

"I'm really starting to lose my mind," says Sheen. "I'm ready to call anyone to help."

Sheen, who recently lost his job on 'Two and a Half Men,' in addition to custody of his twin sons, Bob and Max, to estranged wife Brooke Mueller, now realizes that his lifestyle of excess has become unmanageable.

"I"m really trying to contain myself right now," says Sheen. "My lawyer wants to come over to my house and take the bullets out of my gun."

Friends are increasingly concerned about the actor's well-being, particularly since his children were removed from his home.

"It's crazy over here at the house," says a friend who was with Sheen when he learned he had been fired from his CBS show. "Charlie's losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."

The actor says his main priority is regaining custody of his sons, telling Life & Style, "I'll do anything to get them back. Now I don't give a f**k about the show or about anything [else]."

A source close to Sheen says that time is of the essence when it comes to getting Charlie's life back on track. "Anything could happen at any minute," says the source. "He's a danger to himself -- a really big danger."

Forget about getting any kind of custody of your kids. Lose this last delusion. No judge in his/her right mind will allow it - not when you're swinging machetes around and wishing slow deaths on their mothers. Get yourself help and regain stability. Prove yourself worthy....then think about custody issues.

If you're any big star you practically live in Grand Central. You have to be sterile and unthinking. You have to move when your told without hesitation or question. To have the lifestyle like this is nothing less than corruption on political soil. You can do it but you have got to plan it like your robbing Fort Knox. You can be exposed in unbelieving stories but you can never be scandalous. Drugs are a BIG NO NO.

Dear Mr. Sheen, You know that there is only one group of people who finds your recent experiences totally predicatable. You know who to call and what to do. Remember?-It was sobriety that allowed your proffessional success. If you don't call who you know you should, consider your friend S. Penn's idea. It might allow you the opportunity to 'step out of yourself' and be of actual use to another human being. Charlie needs help, and the people who has surrounded himself with should have the courage to tell this man to obtain the help that he needs. I think it is said how every news outlet is raking in money at the expense of someone who is obviously mentally ill. Someone, like Sean Penn who claims to be his friend, tell him the truth. Do not enable him or make him feel like his behavior is normal, before he destroys his life totally, and hurt the people who love him dearly, which is his family. I truly wish him the best, and that he procures the help he so deperately needs.

The country is watching Charlie Sheen die. His eyes look crazed. He looks very thin. Unshaven. This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen. I hope he gets help...he's the only one that can do it.

Its really sad to watch a person implode in such a public way. He apparently doesn't realize that his children--who he constantly claims are his priority--will one day be old enough to "GOOGLE" and boy will they get an eyeful.
