Charlie Sheen Tells Life & Style: 'I'm Losing My Mind'

After starting what will go down in Hollywood history as the most highly publicized meltdown of all time,
Charlie Sheen is finally admitting to his problems and reaching out for help.
In the latest issue of
Life & Style, the actor admits that his life has taken a sharp decline in recent months and that, despite adamant declarations that he's "winning," his life has fallen off course.
"I'm really starting to lose my mind," says Sheen. "I'm ready to call anyone to help."
Sheen, who recently lost his job on 'Two and a Half Men,' in addition to custody of his twin sons, Bob and Max, to estranged wife
Brooke Mueller, now realizes that his lifestyle of excess has become unmanageable.
"I"m really trying to contain myself right now," says Sheen. "My lawyer wants to come over to my house and take the bullets out of my gun."
Friends are increasingly concerned about the actor's well-being, particularly since his children were removed from his home.
"It's crazy over here at the house," says a friend who was with Sheen when he learned he had been fired from his CBS show. "Charlie's losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."
The actor says his main priority is regaining custody of his sons, telling Life & Style, "I'll do anything to get them back. Now I don't give a f**k about the show or about anything [else]."
A source close to Sheen says that time is of the essence when it comes to getting Charlie's life back on track. "Anything could happen at any minute," says the source. "He's a danger to himself -- a really big danger."

The media needs to back off and stop giving this thing press. So if someone would kindly tell the press this, which we can do by not buying the magazines that print stories about him and not scheduling any more interviews. Charlie Sheen does need help, I sure hope he gets it.

Charlie you can't lose what you never had. If you had your mind you never would have gotten this far out of control. You are a train that is wrecking.

Losing? LOSING?? How about LOST!!! What happened, did he finally watch footage of his crazy antics? Does he really think he's capable of raising his children and does he really think his environment is a tasteful one for his kids? You can't have kids around and still live the life that YOU want to live. Maybe now he'll understand why he was fired from his crummy program!!!!! Then, too, the network embellished his character to mimic Sheen's actual lifestyle. So, I don't know what they're crying about! It's unfortunate that the kid who plays Jake has been exposed to the antics of Sheen's character's persistent sexual and alcohol induced escapades.

This man needs help. It is terrible the amount of people that spew so much hate toward their fellow man; especially when he is in such obvious trouble. My prayers go out for Mr. Sheen and his family and for all the people so ready to devour him.

Hopefully Charlie gets it together so he can find the other half of himself.

If Charlie KNOWS he's losing it, then he, himself can check into any hospital he wants; he needs to stop giving interviews, get off twitter and the i'net; stop u-streaming, look inward and get the help he so desperately needs.

Charlie's a great guy from a great show business family. He will land on his feet I pray. Soon! We love you Charlie!

His meltdown is so severe, I wouldn't be surprised if he's eventually dragged off to spend some time in "the snake pit" before he regains his sanity. He's the poster boy for the tragic effect drugs can have on an undisciplined individual.

Charlie Sheen's next playdate will be with Charlie Manson. Two men with a half dozen personalities.

Where is Martin Sheen in all this? If that were my son I would put him in a straight jacket lock him up and get the best possible help for my child. I have lost all respect for Martin Sheen and feel nothing but sadness he isn't stepping in.

Chuck Lorre and CBS should hire MARTIN SHEEN to play Charlie Harper.
Cryer and the rest of the cast can wear make-up to age them 20 years.
TWO AND A HALF MEN now set in 2031. And Charlie and Alan are still living together. As old men.
Just a thought.......

It's good Charlie Sheen has admitted he needs help. There is still hope for him to get out of this rut he is in and go on to have a happy long life and also be able to have his children around him. There are so many people hoping he will get his life sraightened out. He has his family who love him and he should not turn them away. The ones he should dump are the so called moochers who hang on to him for money, booze or whatever. They don't have his best interest at heart like those who truly love him. There is still hope for Charlie and there are strangers praying for him as well as those who love him. It's all up to him if he wants to win as he calls it or lose!

We all go thru hard times - And sometimes one uses alcohol or drugs to alleviate worry and pain. We are all guilty of it
If i were him I would stay out of the media and away from the public eye. he will see his sons again - and everything will be back to normal like it never happened eg. Mariah breakdown, Britney breakdown etc...

Speak for yourself. Not everyone resorts to alcohol or drugs as salve for their problems. Some of us are smart enough to know if we cannot solve our problems alone, we can hire a professional who can help. True friends lend a sympathic ear, but you need an unbiased viewpoint.
