Charlie Sheen Tells Life & Style: 'I'm Losing My Mind'

After starting what will go down in Hollywood history as the most highly publicized meltdown of all time,
Charlie Sheen is finally admitting to his problems and reaching out for help.
In the latest issue of
Life & Style, the actor admits that his life has taken a sharp decline in recent months and that, despite adamant declarations that he's "winning," his life has fallen off course.
"I'm really starting to lose my mind," says Sheen. "I'm ready to call anyone to help."
Sheen, who recently lost his job on 'Two and a Half Men,' in addition to custody of his twin sons, Bob and Max, to estranged wife
Brooke Mueller, now realizes that his lifestyle of excess has become unmanageable.
"I"m really trying to contain myself right now," says Sheen. "My lawyer wants to come over to my house and take the bullets out of my gun."
Friends are increasingly concerned about the actor's well-being, particularly since his children were removed from his home.
"It's crazy over here at the house," says a friend who was with Sheen when he learned he had been fired from his CBS show. "Charlie's losing it. He's really mad about the show, and dealing with the kids and Brooke is getting to be too much. Charlie is a ticking time bomb, and we all fear he could do something drastic like committing suicide or falling back on hard drugs."
The actor says his main priority is regaining custody of his sons, telling Life & Style, "I'll do anything to get them back. Now I don't give a f**k about the show or about anything [else]."
A source close to Sheen says that time is of the essence when it comes to getting Charlie's life back on track. "Anything could happen at any minute," says the source. "He's a danger to himself -- a really big danger."

Charles is not losing his mind--he has lost it!

It is tragic that the media and so many others have taken advantage of a man with obvious mental health issues. I am suprised that such a known person, with money has no one who will help him. Goes to show we need mental health issues addressed for all walks of life.

enough already, don't give that loser another line of publicity, hand him a gun, LOADED, to have him pull the winning trigger. Good for his kids down the road, better he's dead than alive to mess up their minds and make them turn as ugly as he is.

I am so glad that Sheen is seeking help. I think his problems were getting perpetually worse due to his role on Two and a Half Men. Charlie's life was anything but pure-although very entertaining. His womanizing, drinking, and the fact that money had no meaning, other than the occasional need for a quick jingle had an adverse effect on him and his psyche. Method actors do absorb too much of what they are portraying and incorporate that into their lives. I think of Hoffman, Hanks, Depp, and a host of others that get so wrapped up in a movie role that they are sometimes hard to bear with. Of course their roles are over in a year or less, Sheen has been living the Harper express for 10 years or more. Let the paparazzi stop hounding the man for a dollar and a moment of fame and help him.

Charlie's a rich Hollywood brat who's been doing drugs since his teens. Big egos run in the family. I don't think this show has caused his problems. There seems to be special laws for 'stars'. I'm sure he's OD at least once in the past. How many 'hospital' visits has he had?

I hate to break it to you but he was just an actor that was wayyyy over paid for a silly little 1/2hr. tv show. He was doing something worthwhile to the country or the world.

Maybe this is the REAL Charlie Sheen. We all liked the one on drugs.. now the real one shows up, all clean and sober, and he's not so loveable!

So sorry , I meant he did NOT to anything good for the country or the world. He is just an actor on a little 1/2 tv show
Not important to anyone but himself and the people that are out of work because of his behavior

If the Press ( Sharks) would stop feeding off him, maybe he would not be acting out so badly and think he is WINNING. Then maybe he could be convienced to get some help. As far as the wife (Brooke) she is not a fit parent either. Martin Sheen where are you?

The best thing that could happen to Charlie is for him to just crawl away to some dark place and die!

Charlie: Too late. You've already lost your mind. I hope you'll get rid of those sycophant enablers you surround yourself with and listen to someone who can get you some help. If you gave some of those big bucks you've been earning to help people less fortunate rather than to satisfy your tawdry desires, you might actually learn to respect and like yourself a little.
