Thief Rappels into Showroom, Steals Guy Fieri's $200,000 Lamborghini

Guy Fieri makes a living hosting a game show that awards contestants for their speed and agility. In the early hours of Tuesday, a quick-moving thief with a 'Mission: Impossible' flair rappelled into a luxury car showroom in San Francisco and drove away with the 'Minute to Win It' man's bright yellow Lamborghini Gallardo sports car.
Police tell the
San Francisco Chronicle that a thief scaled the roof of the dealership, then used ropes to drop down to his prize. The garage door lock was cut, and the car was simply driven away, presumably hitting 60 mph about four seconds later.
Local TV station KPIX says the "swashbuckling crook" left behind a bag of mountaineering gear.
The flashy Lambo, worth more than $200,000, will be a tough sell for whoever swiped it. Police note that it's not exactly the type of ride you typically see on a used car lot.
"I'm sure it's a really hot item, and a lot of people are looking for it," San Francisco police Officer Eric Chiang told the Chronicle. "It'll be pretty hard to sell, let alone hide."
Fieri, who rose to fame hosting the Food Network hit 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,' lives in nearby Santa Rosa and has so far not commented on the theft. It's not clear whether the bandit knew the speedster had a famous owner.

Wish I could afford one of those just by eating all day.

Hope the person who stole it is very careful and gets to a doctor,I'm sure that car is full of toxic waste from that fat pig and his toxic hair.

Rob a little jealous are we. I bet you wish you could afford a car like that. Jealousy is so ugly.
I'm not knocking his choice on how he spends his money, but I think it is rediculous that a car costs as much as a home. Is it really worth it other than to say to people "hello, I'm rich" while you're driving it? You can even leagally use it to it's fullest potential in the U.S Myabe it's because I'm not a car fanatic, but I just don't get it. A waste of money (to me). Anyway, it sucks no matter what and I hope he gets it back or at least had good insurance...

Maybe if you learned to spell you would have done better in life and could afford one.
Meant to say CAN'T legally use it to it's fullest potential...

That car is in a shipping container on a ship and gone

I think you got it right on Paul...
Bound somewhere for Eastern Europe or the Middle East for sure.
Sounds like an inside job. Someone knew it was there, and wanted to take it for a test drive. I think anybody that pays that MUCH for a stupid car, deserves to have it stolen. Now if a thief is looking for a '95 Honda Accord, send 'em my way. I'll leave the lights on for 'em!!

A Honda Accord? Seriously? LOL What a winnie!
By now the Lambo is in a shipping container headed for South America or the Middle East. You do not boost a car like that just to take a joy ride. The thief left behing technical climbing gear, that ain't no street punk. I am willing to bet that it was stolen to order and is long gone.
Who cares how he spends his money? He paid his dues and can spend as he sees fit!

It sounds like the work of Alexander Mundy.

Were the keys in it? Does it have Lowjack to monitor its whereabouts? Well, I wonder how his insurance will handle it.

I have alway's wondered why he pronounces his name with a "T" in it when there's not one. Drives me insane. Fieri no damm "T"!

I don't think Mr. Fieri quite fits the demographic Lamborghini was going after when building their luxury exotic. Flip flops, grungy feet and fingernails don't seem a match with this Italian beauty!!!!!!
