When Felicia Pearson landed a role on HBO's hit series 'The Wire' in 2004, it was more than just a role -- it was an opportunity to leave her troubled past behind and start a new life on the right side of the law. But her past proved too hard to shake, and according to The Baltimore Sun, she was among more than 60 people arrested early this morning in Baltimore following a massive drug sting.

Pearson, who was born to drug addicts, had the cards stacked against her from the start. As a 10-year-old, she started working as a drug dealer, and by the time she was 14, she was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to prison. While serving her sentence, she earned her GED and made plans to emerge with a clean slate.
