'The Wire' Actress Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson Busted in Drug Sting

When Felicia Pearson landed a role on HBO's hit series 'The Wire' in 2004, it was more than just a role -- it was an opportunity to leave her troubled past behind and start a new life on the right side of the law. But her past proved too hard to shake, and according to
The Baltimore Sun, she was among more than 60 people arrested early this morning in Baltimore following a massive drug sting.
Pearson, who was born to drug addicts, had the cards stacked against her from the start. As a 10-year-old, she started working as a drug dealer, and by the time she was 14, she was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to prison. While serving her sentence, she earned her GED and made plans to emerge with a clean slate.
After a chance meeting with Michael K. Williams, who starred as Omar Little in 'The Wire,' she was invited to visit the set and offered a role as the ruthless assassin Snoop. She used her newfound fame to turn her life around, mentoring kids, writing a memoir 'Grace After Midnight' and trying her hand at a music career. But her forward progress was met with its share of setbacks, and she devolved back to her former life.
According to The Sun, her role in the drug ring appears to be small, but she was arrested alongside several others following an intensive five-month sting. "Our goal was to totally dismantle this organization from head to toe, and everything in between," said Carl J. Kotowski, the DEA's assistant special agent in charge. Pearson hung her head as she was escorted out of The Redwood apartments in West Baltimore.

I have no sympathy, for anyone whos been handed a chance, and they blow it on dope. How many people get a chance to make tons of money, but would rather get high, than to take full advantage of the situation? Not many people get a chance at ever making a lot of money like this.
Felicia you blew it.
