David and Victoria Beckham Expecting a Girl

David and Victoria Beckham are expecting a little baby girl, PEOPLE reports. And after three sons, this will be the first time the couple will be decorating with pink.

"Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl," Beckham revealed at a L.A. Galaxy fan luncheon.

"We're still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon," he added. "Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well."

The Beckhams confirmed that they were expecting another child in January. The baby girl is due in July.

The new addition to the family will join three big brothers, ages 11, 8 and 5 years old. "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are very excited about the arrival," the couple's rep said in January.

When interviewed by PEOPLE in February, the former Spice Girl said she didn't yet know the sex but would be happy with either. "We know what to do with boys. But, if it's a girl, we'd be over the moon as well."

Her soccer star husband also expressed excitement over the prospect of having a girl, telling the British press back in 2009: "I really want more kids and I hope it happens soon. I want a little girl. That would be amazing."

Victoria has said in interviews that she would love to have a little girl. I think it is very nice news.

I also had three sons & finally the fourth was a girl. I was also very surprised expecting another boy. I wish the Beckham famly much happiness & lots of love.

Um it's a 50/50 shot every time look at Paul Newman for example he had 1 son Scott & 5 Daughters Susan Stephanie Elinore Melissa & Claire and him and Joanne Woodward had wanted a boy when Claire was born in 1965. This is probably david and Victoria's last child because of her difficullties whith pregnancy

Of course it's going to be a "little" girl--given Victoria's skeletonized body size, a "big" girl is out of the question. Happy to hear they've broken the boy cycle.

Being the youngest daughter with three older brothers, I can tell you that I am stronger mentally than my brothers. All those boys toughened me up while i was growing up. What a lovely surprise for the Beckhams!
