Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan early Friday morning and the subsequent warnings placed on Hawaii and the West Coast, the cast and crew of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,' including Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, have been evacuated from their filming location on British Columbia's Vancouver Island beach, according to PEOPLE.The location includes an open waterfront that, for the safety of the cast and locals, has been named as a potential target of the tsunami.
Tinsel Korey, who plays Sam Uley's fiancee Emily Young in the series, tweeted, "They're evacuating us 4 a tsumnani [sic] warning. If this this is my last my tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz." She followed up her initial tweet with, "If this is the moment. Then I've lived a good life. And I'm thankful 4 everything I've been given."
But the 'Twilight' actors aren't the only ones shaken by the tragedy overseas. Celebs like Nicole Richie, Sophia Bush and Bethenny Frankel are all urging their fans to contribute to Red Cross' efforts to aid those affected by the tsunami. Check out celebs' Twitter reactions to the tsunami after the jump.

Oh I feel so much better for Japan now that these celebrites have tweeted! They are all so genuine! Give me a break!

They are want to be someones. They are definitely not celeberties. So they are phoney celeberities; So they are phoney about caring also!
dont give to the red cross the money wont ever go to japan

And just what is your lame excuse for hating the Red Cross? They do a fantastic job helping people!
The Red Cross is quick to respond, but they operate with a very heavy overhead cost, and for a charity they've made many folks working for them a ton of money. I'm not a Christian, but I give to The Salvation Army. They have only a 10% overhead.
I agree. I don't give donations to the Red Cross although I do donate blood. I would find another organization to give money to. I read some stuff about them several years ago that had to do with the donations they receive and was a little disturbed by it. My money goes to other places. The Red Cross, at least several years ago was a little more like the United Way. Remember that story? I don't trust them with my donations.
I believe we should help but any expense that the US has to bear helping them should be subtracted from any of the debt that Japan owns
Reply
And exactly what debt does Japan owe to the US? I am not aware of any such debt.
Who cares about who owes who? People in Japan just experienced a devastating earthquake and are in desperate need of food, clothing, medicine, and shelter. You should donate money for no reason other than it's the right thing to do. After all, if you were in that situation, you'd want help right?
If you forget we owe China, not Japan oweing us.

All these stars using Twitter to express their faux symapthy, only means one thing...the dumbing down of Twitter.

Yeah, because the Twitter bar was set so high before that. Justin Bieber says she loves Japan and now the Twitterverse is all retarded.

Isn't there enough to be concerned about in this world right now than to worry about the cast and crew of a movie? Who really cares about celeb's twitter reactions? Why don't you get seven regular people's tweets and put them here?
Reply
To be fair, the regular people are tweeting about Hurricane Katrina and making Godzilla jokes so maybe it's better we don't draw any more negative attention to ourselves. But the focus of this article did make me throw up in my mouth a little.
I hope Tinsel and the crew didn't get their feet wet by the wave. If this is it, I've had a good life? Plzzzzz
