This week marked one year since former teen icon Corey Haim died following complications from pneumonia. Much of Haim's upbringing -- starring in a series of hit '80s movies, his troubles with drug addiction and his efforts at a comeback -- has been widely documented. However, Haim re-entered the news even before this anniversary, after being snubbed from the "In Memoriam" package at the Academy Awards.Moviefone touts films like 'Lucas' and 'The Lost Boys' as beloved classics, and they took it a step further by taking a moment to do what the Academy didn't: honor the life and career of Corey Haim.
Moviefone has created an 'In Memoriam' video to celebrate Haim's body of work and the impact he had on audiences, featuring narration by Haim's on- and off-screen buddy Corey Feldman, who also shared additional thoughts on Haim's talents, their relationship and how he has dealt with the past year. Imagine living without fear of loving others or being loved without shame. Without fear of rejection or self acceptance. Imagine a life where you love yourself and are not afraid to be hurt. You are perfect just the way you are.

Due to drugs...he didn't age well. He & River Phennix should have done gay porn.
Sad...Sally Fields say it BEST in this short video...

Instead of mourning this idiot's death, people should mourn the life he wasted.

on behalf of corey haim's fans we like to say:BOO TRISH BOOOOOOO TO YOU!
So right, Trish. A total waste of the life God gave to him. Very sad, AND true....
What a cute kid, it's sad. R.I.P. Corey.
Corey Feldman has been a good friend! Corey Haim was overlooked in two memoriams now and it's shameful. Both Corey's were at the top as childhood actors and both excellent actors. Corey Haim may rest in peace due to Corey Feldman's efforts. Corey Feldman looks out for him and I've a feeling Corey Haim will always be remembered, as he should be.

Truth is their movie careers weren't all that great.

I think they had better careers in the movies than you did !!!
Oh yeah, he got my r-e-s-p-e-c-t.
Corey Haim's movies may not have been all that great, thanks to the crappy writing, but his career was better than most teenage actors of the 80's and 90's. His drug use may have clouded his life but that doesn't mean he had a lousy career.
You said the both of them? The two of them have made some blockbuster movies. Goonies, Lost Boys, Gremlins, Lucas, Silver Bullet, License To Drive, Dream A Little Dream, Stand By Me. What have you done?
Yeah, it's stretched beyond belief. They might be immortalized now but back when not many, if any, were thrilled to see them. CF'S movies were always cheap summer camp movies.
What a beautiful tribute.

We should be focused on him and not Sheen ... Sheen is a loser to the core .. if he cared about his kids like him claims .. he wouldn't be doing this crap ..

This In Memoriam video was very beautifully made, & sooo much better than anything the Oscars ever made this year! NO matter what anyone says about Corey Haim, he was without a doubt, one of the very best child actors from 1980s. His memorable performances in Lucas, Murphy's Romance, Silver Bullet, Lost Boys...etc. R.I.P. Corey Haim(1971-2010)
HUGS
Cory Haim was cute as a young actor, but for some reason his mouth hung open a lot, giving him kind of a doofus look. I don't know if it was intentional . . . anyways, it was distracting. But he was cute in his roles.

Corey Haim deserved at least a mention at The Oscars, but Feldman is a "Lost Actor",he preys on death.Remember Michael Jacksons death, he made more appearances then he has in he last 10 years!!

I loved all Corey Haim's films. The Acadamy and the Oscars honored other drug addicts and at least one wife beater, they could also have honored Corey.
