Friend: Charlie Sheen Also Has Some Advice for Alec Baldwin

It should come as no surprise that the latest troll making Charlie Sheen's s**t list is none other than Alec Baldwin, who pointedly advised the out-of-work actor in a blog post on Friday to "Take a nap. Get a shower" and "Sober up." A source close to Charlie says the warlock has no need for advice from fair-weather friends.

"Who is Alec to give Charlie advice," a friend of Sheen's tells me. "Charlie never spoke out during Alec's voicemail scandal. If Charlie ever wanted to talk with Alec, which I doubt he ever would, he would pick up a phone, not write an editorial."

The main point of Alec's article on The Huffington Post was that Charlie should be contrite and beg for his job back because as the title of the piece points out, 'Two and a Half Men Is Better Than None.' My fave bit:

You can't win. Really. You can't. No actor is greater than the show itself when the show is a hit. Sober up, Charlie. And get back on TV, if it's not too late. This is America. You want to really piss off Chuck and Warner Brothers and CBS? Beg for America's forgiveness. They will give it to you. And then go back.

Alec also suggests buying a "really nice" car for 'Men' co-star Jon Cryer, who Charlie infamously called a "turncoat, a traitor, a troll."

While Alec is making an excellent point, people shouldn't expect Charlie to take his advice.

"Charlie believes no one is smarter than he is. He doesn't ask or take advice from anyone. If he thinks he has a problem then he will solve it himself," a friend of the troubled actor tells me. "He's certainly not going to take any advice from Alec. As far as Charlie is concerned, Alec should shut up, sit down and keep eating."

Ouch!

Stop giving him press. If he keeps getting all this attention, he won't go away, as in out of site, out of mind. The best way to get to this guy is to totally ignore him and his antics.

Charlie's dad was kind of weird & loud when he was a young actor too. Maybe it's some kind of disease Charlie inherited . Unless it's the drugs as I don't remember his dad having drug problems .

Of course there are more important issues in the world today... I am not any big fan of Charly Sheen but I do think Alec is in no position to give advice... especially the sort he dished out... what an idiot...I do wish Charly would get it together and give it a rest so he and his family can move on and the rest of us aren't subject to all this nonsence... and Alec Shut up!

Look, it is obvious that Charlie is having a meltdown and the media are fueling his delusions of grandeur. I love his show and hope they can resolve their differences between CBS and himself. Just don't rub his nose in it. He is acting like a megalomaniac and is dangerously close to the edge. Stop ragging on him because all of this negative attention could result in a needless death. We enjoy his acting abilities, we should hold some tolerance for his personal problems as well. Diana

Sooooo... who exactly is this 'friend' who speaks for Charlie Sheen? ..a 'hanger-on?' ..a wannabe celebrity? a jealous sicko? Regardless, if they have no respect for a true celebrity like Alec Baldwin (funny, great actor).. then at least show some respect for the object of your (sick) affection. Repeating.., for all the world to see/read.., some errant befuddled statement (..and I'm sure there's a whole lot of editorializing there) from his sick delusional (so-called) friend.., is certainly not doing him any favor.

Alec sounds like he needs some attention.
Its sad that he felt the need to talk about Charlie in the news.
Pretty low in my book, anything to be seen or heard alec.
Alec needs to stfu, and go shower himself, lose some weight then go on a diet.
Its not nice to talk about others in the news alec, no matter how neglected you feel.
