Lisa Rinna and Star Jones Got 'Ugly' Behind the Scenes of 'Apprentice'

Lisa Rinna felt the underside of Donald Trump's boot last night on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' and the bad blood between her and Star Jones, the mastermind behind her defeat and the first to throw her under the bus during the episode, could not be any uglier.

"Since the show wrapped, there's been no love lost between Star and Lisa," one of the contestants tells me. "Things got so ugly between them that NBC legal had to get involved."

I'm told that Mark Burnett Productions and the Trump Organization had to step in and get the network involved during Lisa's short stint on the show. Both sides aren't talking about what sparked legal's attention or even who is the culprit in this mess.

That said, you could see from just watching the show that these two ladies clashed from the moment they met. Star pushed to get Lisa chosen as team leader, primarily because she thought she'd blow it and get fired. Even NeNe Leakes admitted it, saying, "We choose Lisa because we didn't think she would handle it, and it's best to get her out now."

Lisa was tasked with spearheading the creation of a children's book, but she soon had to defuse a battle between Marlee Matlin and Dionne Warwick. Throughout it all, she and Star butted heads.

We all knew that Star, the direct-talking lawyer, and the more relaxed Lisa were never going to be friends, but no one could have predicted it would ever get this ugly.

"Lisa feels betrayed by Star and Dionne Warwick and has never in her life been exposed to such a negative environment," a friend of Lisa tells me. "She comes from a place of love and refuses to fight dirty even if that means she would not win. To be honest, she's happy it's all over and has moved on."

"At least she left with her class and dignity in place," Lisa's friend tells me.

With "class" in mind, here's a clip from last night's show when The Donald compliments Lisa's lips.

I totally agree!!! and she has made me ashamed to be named after her, she and Star mean, vindictive, and bitter women!!!!

I totally agree. There are plenty of "tough" women who show respect to others and get things done without the petty, diva behaviors of Dionne and Star. NeeNee is a follower, shich is worse than being just weak. Sadly, the other women showed zero backbone or initiative by staying mostly silent.

I agree! I was ill watching star and the nasty warwick! i don't want to watch the show now b/c lisa was fired. obviously trump showed that only jerks run the corporations.

I agree. WHat was up with those two. I mean really? Being a biotch doesn't make you better than the next person and they didn't even want to help. When she said they threw her under the bus, it is true. They set her up to get rid of her. PLus what is up with the rest of them not speaking up? Are they afraid of an old bat and her has been sidekick? If they don't get rid of those two they will be next and seeing the previews, it looks like Dionne is being lazy and acting like a diva on the next show. GET RID OF HER.

I think the idea is to make it up the ladder and then reach out and pull the next woman up. Just because you made it doesn't mean you should step on, or in this case stomp the hell out of other women. Really negative arrogant women. I was shocked at how Dionne behaved. Star not so much, but still awful.The rest of team are just cowards for sitting there and not defending thier leader. Anyone belonging to a team that trys to, on purpose sabatoge their leader cannot be trusted and is not a leader, it's a dictator. Too bad that when Star was project manager her team did not set her up to fail. They thought of thier team. Disappointed with Trump.I don't see him as that kind of a leader so I was surprised at how he handled that situation.

Its funny, if it were a black lady being ganged up by two white ladies like Star and Dionne totally ganged up on Lisa, they would be screaming racism. BUt you dont see the Lisa saying that.

Thank you!! Those 2 are rotten,, selfish and evil. Lisa said it best when Star(ugh) asked what she could've done better. BE KIND. The problem with Dion's disrespect of Marlee's idea was what started the anxiety for Lisa.

I am in total agreement. What a bunch of self serving, self centered individuals. Using the words women or ladies is too kind for these dogs. In all the seasons of celebrity apprentice this kind of behavior is the worst I have ever seen. Even Joan Rivers behaved better than this. It is so sad that these two people are that insecure with themselves that they need to belittle Lisa and ultimately get her fired. Mr. Trump you will regret that move.

To reward the guy in the first show, and then Warwicks behavior. As Dionne put it in her song from Valley of the Dolls, "When will I know, etc "......well, we know now Dionne...we will all watch our backs, bad move.

You all are forgetting the biggest trouble maker of them all, NeNe. She is a hater that puts on an act. Remember what she said about setting Lisa up to take a fall? I refuse to watch this show ever again. It reminds me of how women do not stick together, I've seen this all too many times. Women will turn on women faster than they will a man.

You are so right! Those two are beyond beatches! I always heard Dionne Warwick was a mean person, but now I watched it last week and this week as she is very nasty! Star Jones is a real witch, too! I just think the Donald messed up. He should have let those two go, but looks like he was afraid of them. Lisa Reami was 100% correct and was no match for those two woverines!! Why are Star Jones and Dionne Warwick always eating anyway! They need to be on the Food Nasty Network!! I really felt bad for Marlee Matlin, too. She is a sweetheart.
