Lisa Rinna and Star Jones Got 'Ugly' Behind the Scenes of 'Apprentice'

Lisa Rinna felt the underside of Donald Trump's boot last night on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' and the bad blood between her and Star Jones, the mastermind behind her defeat and the first to throw her under the bus during the episode, could not be any uglier.

"Since the show wrapped, there's been no love lost between Star and Lisa," one of the contestants tells me. "Things got so ugly between them that NBC legal had to get involved."

I'm told that Mark Burnett Productions and the Trump Organization had to step in and get the network involved during Lisa's short stint on the show. Both sides aren't talking about what sparked legal's attention or even who is the culprit in this mess.

That said, you could see from just watching the show that these two ladies clashed from the moment they met. Star pushed to get Lisa chosen as team leader, primarily because she thought she'd blow it and get fired. Even NeNe Leakes admitted it, saying, "We choose Lisa because we didn't think she would handle it, and it's best to get her out now."

Lisa was tasked with spearheading the creation of a children's book, but she soon had to defuse a battle between Marlee Matlin and Dionne Warwick. Throughout it all, she and Star butted heads.

We all knew that Star, the direct-talking lawyer, and the more relaxed Lisa were never going to be friends, but no one could have predicted it would ever get this ugly.

"Lisa feels betrayed by Star and Dionne Warwick and has never in her life been exposed to such a negative environment," a friend of Lisa tells me. "She comes from a place of love and refuses to fight dirty even if that means she would not win. To be honest, she's happy it's all over and has moved on."

"At least she left with her class and dignity in place," Lisa's friend tells me.

With "class" in mind, here's a clip from last night's show when The Donald compliments Lisa's lips.

Mike, you hit the nail on the head. Sure shows us all that they just don't want a better world where everyone gets along. It is their way or no way. Jones set up Lisa from the get-go. She probably made the print tiny in the book as just another thing to make their team lose so Lisa would get fired.

so, we're gonna judge to state of racial relations today on a TV show???....hey, i'm no fan of starr or dionne at this point, but are they really representative of "all" the black people you know...maybe they are???....go find some other black people to get to know on a personal basis and hopefully that will open your mind alittle...peace

Mike, I was thinking the exact same thing last night, it is here and has been for a long while now, I went thru it when I worked before I was married 3 years ago, I totally hate that term " political correct", just say what you mean, if your not adult enought to handle it, so what, blacks say what is on their minds and we are susposed to take it ?? What the heck, I hope Star , Nene, ( a total loser in my opinion, who is she really anyway), and Dionne get "fired" fast, I think Marlee should win, smart, capable and tough !!

Maybe Donald Trump should start watching the tapes. This was tragic the way they ganged up on Lisa Rinna, who always has intergity.Star and Dionne brought their true selves into this. How disappointed I was in 2 woman I admired so much.

Mike L you hit the nail on the head. You can see the racist HATE in all 3 black women, not just Star and Dionne. These black women HATE US and are always going to push themselves ahead of everyone else. Star and Dionne wanted THEIR NAMES published on the book. No one else deserved any credit. It was a team effort and (poor Lisa) did the right thing by putting a.s.a.p on the book. It was disgusting to watch. I wanted to go through the TV and strangle all the black women. They are NOT LIKE WHITE PEOPLE. NEVER! Crude and ignorant is all they know.

mike, i couldn't agree more. lisa rinna should have hooked a big-rig to one of dionne warwick's nostrils and pulled her off of the show. and star jones; what an arrogant piece of crap. let's go after all sponsors that put star jones on the air and demand she be fired or the public will boycott sponsor's products. now might be a good time to go after sponsors of the apprentice. see how these two animals (and nene is a close third) like it. black, ugly, bully loud mouthed losers. let them all fail.

You are so right and I am so glad that you posted this. Funny someone shortly after you couldn't believe that you were basing that off of 2 black women. I think that you know as well as I do that this is how a lot of black people feel, especially black women about white women. A lot of jealousy.

Mike, I wondered how long it was going to take before someone played the race card! This had nothing to do with race, this was 2 old women being mean to others! Their color has nothing to do with how they treated Lisa. And as far as the other members go, they seemed to agree that Lisa needed to be fired...that's why they didn't speak up. They didn't want to stand behind Lisa...period.
