Lisa Rinna and Star Jones Got 'Ugly' Behind the Scenes of 'Apprentice'
Lisa Rinna felt the underside of Donald Trump's boot last night on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' and the bad blood between her and Star Jones, the mastermind behind her defeat and the first to throw her under the bus during the episode, could not be any uglier.
"Since the show wrapped, there's been no love lost between Star and Lisa," one of the contestants tells me. "Things got so ugly between them that NBC legal had to get involved."
I'm told that Mark Burnett Productions and the Trump Organization had to step in and get the network involved during Lisa's short stint on the show. Both sides aren't talking about what sparked legal's attention or even who is the culprit in this mess.
That said, you could see from just watching the show that these two ladies clashed from the moment they met. Star pushed to get Lisa chosen as team leader, primarily because she thought she'd blow it and get fired. Even NeNe Leakes admitted it, saying, "We choose Lisa because we didn't think she would handle it, and it's best to get her out now."
Lisa was tasked with spearheading the creation of a children's book, but she soon had to defuse a battle between Marlee Matlin and Dionne Warwick. Throughout it all, she and Star butted heads.
We all knew that Star, the direct-talking lawyer, and the more relaxed Lisa were never going to be friends, but no one could have predicted it would ever get this ugly.
"Lisa feels betrayed by Star and Dionne Warwick and has never in her life been exposed to such a negative environment," a friend of Lisa tells me. "She comes from a place of love and refuses to fight dirty even if that means she would not win. To be honest, she's happy it's all over and has moved on."
"At least she left with her class and dignity in place," Lisa's friend tells me.
With "class" in mind, here's a clip from last night's show when The Donald compliments Lisa's lips.

I totally agree. My friend and I were watching it last night and he said, we really are the minority anymore. In the workplace, on TV, the list goes on. And the sad thing is we allowed it because we were told we were racist if we stood up. Its okay for blacks to have their own month, their on network, their on beauty pagent, their own everything. But if whites do that, then its racist.
You are 100% correct.
Race has nothing to do with this, it's nasty women, full stop. Shame on you for your racist thinking and shame on Star and Dionne for being such horrible people.
What are you talking about! White people can't be racist! Look at the history of this country, bud and you don't know those women are racist. Did they say it?
Star should go on Survivor she makes Russell look like an angel

Did anyone else find it ironic that "Star"(her real name?) became some kind of relationship experet after she married that gay guy? How did that turn out for her?

Star is a poor excuse for a human being. She's nasty, condecending, ugly (I don't mean looks wise - altho she would never win any beauty contest)and so full of herself that I wouldn't be able to contain myself if I ever ran into her on the street. Lisa is a lovely person who was steamrolled by Star and Dionne and didn't stand a chance. The one thing Lisa should have done is let Star put her name down as author of that ridiculous book she wrote. I'm delighted that Star is gaining weight. She looks awful with all that flab on her arms and stomach. I've read that by the end of the season every one of the women hates her. I hope so. I've hated her since her exit from The View and you can bet she's done nothing to score any points on the Apprentice.

I think this is way the show is losing viewers. Trump keeps the most obnoxious, underhanded people in favor of the more decent ones. It's hard to root for people you don't like even if Trump admires their tactics. Ruthlessness is rewarded in the name of charity when it's really all about the celebs' egos.

Trump is a WORM!! Everybody watching seen right through those two nasty skanks! Star and crack head Dionne,If they would have treated his dauther like that,He would have blown his wig!

Star Jones is fabulous, just ask her! I love that she toots her own horn and will eventually throw her buddy Dionne under the bus. Self serving, egocentric bully. If Star was truly a nice person, she would want her team to do well, apparently her cause is the only one that matters.Star is best friends with Melania so I think Trump will have a hard time firing her. Dionne is just a very ignorant and out of it has been.

Lisa should have let loose on Star and Dionne ! Surprised that Donald did not see that with all the attitude sitting high on the pedestal. If I was Lisa .. I would have told him maybe this attitude is WHY Star got FIRED once before by Barbara Walters on The View ! As for Dionne, watch a nasty person ... I was appalled at the ugly things she said to Marleen. Guess NBC always has to have one or two that shake things up ...Star & Dionne have DEFINITELY shown their TRUE COLORS !!!!!!

I,m more angry with Donald Trump running for president now. If he couldn't see how awful Star Jones and Dionne Warwick were, how is he going to run this country. You know I admired these two woman before last night. Dionne songs always brought me good memories of my youth. I always thought Star was brilliant, but if you have to play dirty and hurt nice people who are trying to do something for a charity they love. When you do it with backstabbing and bullying like we seen last night. I wouln't want to be part of this at all. I'm not watching this show anymore.
I found it disgusting that Trump will promote the most evil and self absorbed to make the show interesting. Both Star and Dionne are going to steam roll over anyone to be the top dog. Forget charity, forget teamwork. All it shows is that if you are nasty enough and throw everyone under the bus you are the winner. If I wanted to see that,I'd watch Survivor where the aim is to do that. This is for CHARITY. And instead of embracing each other's charity for Star and Dionne (who I lost all respect for) it's me me me no matter what. It's shameful. Lisa is a bright business woman and does anyone even understand she runs her own business? Just because she shows a kinder side is no reason to have treated her that way. And what about the callous treatmen of Marlee? Disgusting to watch. Shame on Trump for promoting brutality and sending a message if you are not a diva or a cut throat you're fired!

Well said. I agree with every word. Trump will hurt his show if he doesn't get this nastiness under control now. Few people want to watch this ugliness
I agree - I was rooting for Lisa & Marilee. I'm sorry Marilee is left behind in this mess! Dionne was unbelivably rude to her! And, age doesn't excuse rudeness!
AGREE. Would Trump be so condoning of Star & Dionne's back stabbing if they had done it to his daughter??????
I understand that this is a boardroom situation. I totally get Star is titant and bully. But the nerve of Dion to question Lisa's ability to lead. Keep in mind this is a woman that couldn't operate a credit card machine in the first challenge. The way she talks to people is down right disrespectful (ala Marley). Lisa wasted more time arguing with Star & Delusional Dion when she could have been doing something more productive. I think Dion should be the next Project manager. Let's see how that works out. The best part was when Trump asked Marley if she knew Dion was a legend and Marley said "I'm def, I can hear her music." Bet he felt like a real Jackhole for asking that.
