Ryan Phillippe's Ex-Girfriend Pregnant With His Child?

Will Ryan Phillippe be adding to his brood of two? From the evidence, it looks that way. According to PEOPLE, Phillippe's ex-girlfriend, actress Alexis Knapp, is pregnant and in her second trimester.

The on-and-off couple dated for several months in 2010 before calling it quits in September of last year. According to sources close to Knapp, 26, who is 10 years Phillippe's junior, there is no question that the baby, due in June, is Phillippe's.

PEOPLE reports that although Phillippe isn't 100 percent positive that Knapp is carrying his child, if he is the father, he will be present in the child's life without a doubt.

"Ryan is aware of the situation [and] totally prepared to take responsibility should the child be his," says a source.

Phillippe, who has two other children, Ava and Deacon, with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, recently admitted to Ellen Degeneres, "I'm dating. Not nearly as voraciously as the magazines like to make out, but I am dating," although he never named the lucky lady (or ladies) filling up his dance card.

But with potentially two baby mamas in his life, his current leading lady, 'Red Riding Hood' star Amanda Seyfried, may not be as keen on becoming a fixture of Phillippe's complicated relationship circles.

Doesn't say much that's positive about either one of them if true, but whatever, world's full of shallow and selfish people who don't seem to see much wrong in conceiving children in the midst of inconsistent, unstable relationships.

Who cares? Babies don't need their parents to be married. Is it any different if they are married at the time of their babies birth only to divorce later?

I hate to tell you Lara, but Hollywood reflects all of America. They are no different. The lady down the street from where you live is probably sleeping with your boss. S**t happens. Don't blame Hollywood for ALL the problems of the world. They are only humans just like you. Keep taking those birth control pills. We have enough intolerant people in this country!

@Debra: But the point is, these people in Hollywood KNOW that there are people that look up to them and idolize them. And they act as if they should not be accountable for their actions. They are setting examples, whether they like it or not, or whether they realize it or not. And stupid, gullible, innocent-minded teens who idolize these idiots without a clue what morality is step up to their parents and say "Well, if it's alright for so-and-so to get pregnant out of wedlock, then it's okay for me, too!" not realizing that really, it's NOT okay. Babies need two parents to raise them, ideally, and this trend of single-parenting by choice is unfair to the children. So many people are against gay marriage because it's going to 'corrupt' the ideal of traditional marriage. And this sort of situation is better? No marraige at all?

If they broke up in September, it's pretty iffy that it's actually his. It could go either way. September to June is 9 months. Depending on when they broke up and when baby is due. Who knows? They obviously don't!

Wow Amanda Seyfried is so fresh and talented - she doesn't need an old re-tread like Ryan. Sure he's cute, but 2 baby mommas to deal with and kids - she needs to move on and find a man who will treat her like she's the only one - which she obviously has not been. Whatever happened to Abbie Cornish - his other "Love"?
Seems he loves a lot of women.

Hate to break it to you, Barb, but fresh and talented or not there's nothing particularly special about Amanda Seyfried when you move in the kind of social circles he does. As unsavory as the immature Phillippe generally seems you can bet that she'll eventually get knocked up and find herself in the midst of a deteriorating, unfulfilling relationship with some carousing celebrity type much like him (if not him) in the end. You may find that overly cynical, likely do, but just remember I told you so way back when.

i always wonder about men like this and how they justify sleeping with girls so much younger than them. this jerk has never dated anyone his own age or even close. how does one have a young daughter and set this example. will it be ok for his daughter to be 21 and some 40 yr. old perve bed her, get her pregnant, and move on to the next 20 something? she's lucky her mom is reese witherspoon and seems to be a descent person. his children schould be so proud.
