'Bachelor' Brad and Emily: It's Over Already?
EXCLUSIVE: Moments after Brad Womack
proposed to Emily Maynard on last night's 'Bachelor' finale, millions of fans were shocked to learn that the couple have already gone through a breakup, and while Brad told viewers he was ready for marriage, sources tell me the couple has since broken up for good.
"Emily is so insecure, she just isn't cut out for all the fame and attention her relationship is under," a show insider tells me. "The six weeks of shooting the show in paradise was easy, away from prying eyes and photographers, but since they both returned to their normal lives things have been a disaster."
During the finale, Emily, mom to 5-year-old daughter Ricki, accepted Brad's proposal, beating out fellow contestant Chantal O'Brien for Womack's heart. The actual proposal was a tender, romantic moment of television.
"You're so much more to me than a leap of faith," he said. "You're the one. You're my once in a lifetime. I'm asking you to give me your forever."
Later, Emily admitted having trouble watching Brad get intimate with different ladies every Monday night. She also admitted that Brad's temper in real life also took her by surprise.
Despite their problems, however, Brad has been trying valiantly to make the relationship work and publicly, he's now saying the two are trying to rebound after a bumpy start to the relationship.
"At long last, Emily and I can be open to the world and each other about our relationship," they said in joint statement to
PEOPLE on Tuesday. "Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship."
But an in-the-know network producer tells me their problems run deep and go beyond the normal pangs of a distressed couple.
"Emily is not able to forgive Brad for what she considers cheating week-after-week with other girls," my source says. "It's always hard sending the couple back into reality after they have been living in paradise, but no one in the history of the show has had as hard a time adjusting as Emily."
Like many fans, my source "would love to say they are going to make it, but they don't. After we taped the 'After the Rose,' it was clear to everyone that this one was not going to work."
Too bad, we were rooting for you.

this show is the biggest piece of crap on t.v...get rid of it and the biggest loser and we would all be better...but since they are cheap to make and produce the networks will never get rid of this crap.

So who's asking you to watch? If you think these shows are so awful, turn off your TV!
Agreed that it is best to set a tone for what type of behavior is acceptable and what isn't, but Emily's own self-admitted insecurities appear to play a huge role in what is percieved as Brad's temper. By all accounts, it appeared that he was visibly upset, but remember that editing allows for better TV. Emily's insecurities have prevented her from engaging in an open and honest relationship (she admits that) and it seems that Brad is frustrated with having to consistently affirm his feelings for Emily and her daughter. If Emily truly loves Brad, she will find confidence in how he makes her feel, what he tells her he feels, and how she feels about him, without making him beg. And, Brad will practice patience with her if his love is real. All said, real love means being intentional in your relationship with one another and both of them should turn towards one another and away from the naysayers...AND the cameras. If it isn't love, let it go and don't involve a child any further.

"Barbie" needs to get back in her box....too bad Brad couldn't see through her....he never got to meet her family....it was like "poor me", please "feel sorry for me" all thru the show...not one bit surprised she is acting like a child...and of course Brad was so stupid to fall for the act.

I'm so curious.....there are so many people slamming the show, and saying how idiotic it is and questioning why anyone would watch it...so my question is....if you don't watch it how would you even know whether it's idiotic? I can't take any of it seriously but it sure is entertaining. A lot of fun. Geesh! Maybe I should watch Charlie Sheen interviews instead.
I was a single mom for 5 yrs before marriage of 8yr. I think the way they look at each other is no question that they love each other. However i do think they need to workout issue before getting married. That is smart of both of them. i think brad will be great to emily and her daughter and love them very much. Also for him to know what he is getting into and still provide a ring show he is a wonderful person and emily is very lucky!!! iknow how hard it is to find a good guy that will take on you and yr child and their is not very many great good looking guys out there!! So i do think if emily is smart they both will have their happy ever after!! i wish the love, strenth, and ever after :] i hope they prove all u haters wrong!!

if this guy is supposed to be a millionaire, why does he have to go on national t.v. to find a wife? Emily is drop dead gorgeous, but you have to wonder why she hasn't found someone by now that would love her and her daughter, and help her move on from her loss. Just being real.

My wife watches this garbage. I kicked out of the house to go watch this at her sister's house. I won't pollute my nice flat screen with this kind of manure. Oh, and by the way, is anyone surprised by this. This guy not only got his 15 minutes, but he got to get down with all those women. What did this chick, Emily, think she was getting with this Dog???

LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So typical... I am going to guess that Emily's house is on the market coz she is running out of money.. I just loved it when she sat there on national tv and talked about how she "always won", and made Brad squirm.. "I know I should let him have one" she said ha ha.. like turning him into a little boy in front of millions was so satisfying. Emily is a man eater and totally aware of her ability to conquer and brand. Brad was a fool and he never had a chance with her which was obvious to most of us.. but like many of us men and women, he just couldnt resist that dangled carrot. He could be very happy right now jumping off cliffs with Chantal... woops.. too late.

Hey Emily you were on TV where did you think you were going? This show is a joke, and people who watch have nothing better to do. I didn't but I had to see the results. I told myself last night 6 months, who knew 6 min. Take it off the air. The guy used the show for his own gain.

What a baby...Emily needs to GROW UP. Being with her would be like constantly walking on eggshells, and that is EXHAUSTING. Count yourself LUCKY Brad. You are TOO GOOD for her. I can't stand WHINERS. Ugh.

No way...! That's not true..
I believe they will last 'n we'll be seeing their TV wedding within this year or early next year.
I knew Brad fell in love with Emily since the day he brought that blanket+basket of wine on the rose ceremony to create a mini date.
They're a Match made in Heaven & a little bumpy road won't hurt them (=
I haven't been this excited since Ryan & Trista! ^^

All of the girls were too young for Brad. Emily was only 24 and he is 38.
