Report: Whitney Houston Orders Teenage Daughter to Rehab for Cocaine

Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown may be in trouble again.
It's no secret that Houston has had her own battles with drug addiction after much personal-turned-public turmoil and a stint in rehab in the early 2000s. But following
photos that recently surfaced of Bobbi Kristina snorting cocaine, Houston is stepping up and stepping in.
According to the
National Enquirer, in an attempt to save her adolescent daughter from repeating her own mistakes, the 47-year-old mama has reportedly canceled Bobbi Kristina's 18th birthday celebration at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, is taking back the Lexus she gifted her daughter and is sending her straight to rehab.
Bobbi Kristina attempted to
debunk the cocaine photos on Twitter recently, and now she's back to shoot down rehab rumors,
tweeting, "Excuse me, but I'd like to say that I am NOT going to rehab? I'm perfectly healthy and I am not addicted to anything but life."
Houston credits her own mother, Cissy Houston, with saving her from her addiction to crack cocaine. Houston told Oprah in 2009 that her mother forced her to rehab after getting a court injunction that allowed her to stage an intervention with armed police at Houston's door in 2004.
Bobbi Kristina's father -- R&B bad boy and Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown -- has a drug history of his own, and his daughter seems to be following in both her parents' hard-partying footsteps. This isn't the first news of the famous offspring's teen troubles. Rumors have also recently surfaced of a
Bobbi Kristina sex tape.
Is Bobbi Kristina really in a tough spot, or does the National Enquirer just have it out for Houston's daughter? In 2008, the Enquirer
reported that a then-15 Bobbi Kristina "tried to stab her mom during an argument -- and then attempted to kill herself by slashing her wrists."
Again in late 2010, the Enquirer called Bobbi Kristina "out of control" and "wild child," saying she was "going party-crazy."
On the flip side,
NecoleBitchie.com writes that four years ago, "Whitney prohibited her then 14-year-old daughter from MySpace after photos of her supposedly drinking alcohol and smoking weed surfaced on the Internet." The site then
displays photos of Bobbi Kristina blowing smoke and holding a red beer-pong style Solo cup.

Couldn't they have gotten a better discount on the Family Plan?
This is I'm sure the same as usual. There's some truth to the story but it is being very blown out of proportion.
I believe Bobbi Kristina is experimenting with things and with two addicts as parents I'm sure It'll eventually lead to an addiction problem. But the tabloids are stoking the fire and trying to make it burn harder and faster than it really is.
The truth is somewhere in the middle.

National Enquirer broke the John Edwards' baby Daddy story before any other news outlets did.
Money and fame sure does not guarantee being a contributor to society

i find it truly amusing and also disturbing that you know you can burn your fingers on a crack pipe lol....have a nice day:)
What wonderful examples these so called celebrities are for our children. I am so thankful that I don't need drugs, legal or illegal to make it through the day...

How about some kudos to Whitney for wanting to see her daughter NOT follow in her more notorious footsteps?

KUDOS for Whitney? Unless you are talking about the delicious granola bar, smothered in chocolate, she doesn't deserve any!! Woman has seen the signs for a WHILE now and has not done anything to stop it (REHAB) just shut down her MYSPACE? Only because the photos would reflect poorly on HER but that was not enough! She gave the child everything and now that she is almost 18 (considered legal) jumping in and claiming MOMMA privaledges aren't going to get her far- it is too little, too late!
that nut sure didnt fall to far from tree

I really feel bad for all of them, but especially Bobby Kristina. She was dealt a bad hand, but it's not too late to help her. Let the grandma take over......the parents are not the best examples of good citizens. As a side note, with all their money, why don't they pay to have that gap in her front teeth filled? It might help her with her self esteem and she won't have to be reminded of her crappy father every time she looks in the mirror.

The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. A little too late on the parenting efforts, Whitney...

never to late!!!! not making an effort at all is to late!!!! bobbi k will now she has the support of people who were in her shoes (parents) backing her! thats priceless! to throw your hands up and say "im sorry" is emotional abandonment! Apple dont fall to FAR from the tree but if the tree still has life it isnt all bad. the last apple that fell from a dead tree thats trouble lol "i believe in miracles"!
One sentence stands out to me: "According to the National Enquirer" do not believe everything you read, that's all i'm saying.

Gets whatever she wants (again, her parents gave all that crap too her and pampered the precious thing!) REHAB TIME!! another Lindsey Lohan in the making! How sad
