Donald Trump Emerges as 'Just a Little' Bit Birther

In another sign he is ogling the White House, Donald Trump joined the birther-curious community on Thursday in an interview with ABC's 'Good Morning America,' fully airing his doubts that President Obama was born -- or even raised -- in the United States.

He premised his skepticism by defending others who don't believe the president is a native-born citizen. "Anybody that even gives any hint of being a birther ... they label them an idiot," he said. "And let me tell you, I'm a really smart guy ... The reason I have a little doubt, just a little, is because he grew up and nobody knew him."

He then challenged the interviewer, Ashleigh Banfield, to mine his past if he were to run and secure the Republican nomination.

"You may go back and interview people from my kindergarten," he said. "They'll remember me. Nobody comes forward. Nobody knows who he is until later in his life. It's very strange. The whole thing is very strange."

According to his biography, Obama attended Noelani Elementary School in Honolulu for kindergarten, then moved to Indonesia where he attended St. Francis Assisi Catholic School for three years.

The 'Celebrity Apprentice' host then laid out what he would do regarding several foreign policy matters of the day:
• On Libya, he'd endorse a "surgical strike" on the country's rogue dictator, Col. Muammar Gadhafi
• On Somali pirates, he'd roll up "an Admiral and a couple of ships" and "wipe them out of the sea so fast."

Following these pledges of international policing, Trump seemingly railed against such actions while also lamenting China's precipitous rise on the international stage.

"While we spend billions of dollars a week on being the policemen for the world, China's spending billions of dollars a day on taking over the world, economically. That's not a good formula for us."

Oh, the interview took place on Trump's private jet.

sandy....dumbell...he posted his birth certificate for months...on the white house website...the woman incharge of birth certificates in hawaii(who by the way is a republican )has stated many times he WAS born in hawaii...and his birth certificate is the original....dumbbell....evidently you and donald(dumba-ss)need to do some research.....

But it became apparent that what had been discovered was an unspecified listing or notation of Obama's birth that someone had made in the state archives and not a birth certificate. And in the same interview Abercrombie suggested that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health. WHY I wonder?

He is biracial and he can say he's black or white and never be wrong about what he is. I think he felt like he could embrace his white side while running then once he got into the white house and the teabaggers started with the hate, and monkey slurs he was made to reflect on what it is to be black in America. Realized every single journalist, every single news caster, educator referred to him as the first black President, and he resigned the fight of being anything else. If he said he was white what roar do you think that would bring, how much laughter??

He's both, and he NEVER played a white card...which one in the deck is that one anyway. He talked about being the face of all the people in America, and while he did actually check black in the census which was leaked, he has been identified as black [by the entire world-I guess he didn't want to upset the perception as it might be, the term biracial is rarely used in identifying anyone] as of the day he won the election. And again, darling...are you asking him to check white, and if he did who in the world is gonna believe that one...its easier to see that he is half black, even though he is half white. So if he wants to play for both teams, he's allowed and doesn't need your permission to do so, now does he....he gets that right just by being in the skin he is in.
