Donald Trump Emerges as 'Just a Little' Bit Birther

In another sign he is ogling the White House, Donald Trump joined the birther-curious community on Thursday in an interview with ABC's 'Good Morning America,' fully airing his doubts that President Obama was born -- or even raised -- in the United States.

He premised his skepticism by defending others who don't believe the president is a native-born citizen. "Anybody that even gives any hint of being a birther ... they label them an idiot," he said. "And let me tell you, I'm a really smart guy ... The reason I have a little doubt, just a little, is because he grew up and nobody knew him."

He then challenged the interviewer, Ashleigh Banfield, to mine his past if he were to run and secure the Republican nomination.

"You may go back and interview people from my kindergarten," he said. "They'll remember me. Nobody comes forward. Nobody knows who he is until later in his life. It's very strange. The whole thing is very strange."

According to his biography, Obama attended Noelani Elementary School in Honolulu for kindergarten, then moved to Indonesia where he attended St. Francis Assisi Catholic School for three years.

The 'Celebrity Apprentice' host then laid out what he would do regarding several foreign policy matters of the day:
• On Libya, he'd endorse a "surgical strike" on the country's rogue dictator, Col. Muammar Gadhafi
• On Somali pirates, he'd roll up "an Admiral and a couple of ships" and "wipe them out of the sea so fast."

Following these pledges of international policing, Trump seemingly railed against such actions while also lamenting China's precipitous rise on the international stage.

"While we spend billions of dollars a week on being the policemen for the world, China's spending billions of dollars a day on taking over the world, economically. That's not a good formula for us."

Oh, the interview took place on Trump's private jet.

I would absolutely vote for Trump for President and by the way, I am a registered Republican voter! I also would vote for Ron Paul as well if he ran. and yes Trump is correct that its very, very strange how Obama seemingly came from nowhere, with no history and nobody knows him at all from his early formative years??? this has been on my mind from the start. and NO, nobody has presented a true copy of Obama's original birth certificate for inspection. he has given a "certified copy" which does not contain all relevant information such as birth place, and other relevant information, etc..etc..

I can't believe the people who think that economically the United States would be better off with "The Donald" as President. This guy has gone through more bankruptcy's than Toyota's had recalls!
Not to mention the obvious skeletons in his closet. How many wives has he had? His ego's as big as his mouth and I'm sure he just loves to hear himself speak. To quote/paraphrase a line from the movie Top Gun, Donald, your ego's writing checks your body can't cash."

If anyone knows anything at all about birth certificates and how birth certificates are amended, (as in such cases of changed names, any other changes one wishes to apply for to get a new birth certificate, etc..) the state office which handles them will take the amended, (new) copy and attach it to the old, original certificate. when anyone requests a copy of a certificate they will get the new amended copy, not the original one that was amended? so if for instance you wanted to apply to change your place of birth, or your fathers information, your new certificate would not contain the old info. one would have to authorize the state to release both copies, old and new together?

Your place of birth is a non changeable issue. so is the date of birth, Otherwise, people will be able to choose how old they are and where they wanted to be born.

He is not a no brainer person, he knows that he will not even get near to a nomination. But, the publicity that he is getting, is probably worth thousands. He is providing silly remarks that will get the public either angry or agree with him. Remember talking about him good or bad is really very good for him
