Zac Efron Shows Off His Buff Bod [Photos]

After looking at these new shirtless photos of Zac Efron, we have two words for you: eye candy!

The 23-year-old star spent some time hanging out on Manhattan Beach in California, and luckily some paparazzi snapped some shots of the hunky 'New Year's Eve' star.

We can thank Efron's new film 'The Lucky One' for his super buff bod. The teen-star gained 18 pounds for the role in which he is set to play a Marine. But don't let this very grown up looking Efron fool you -- he and pals spent the day skateboarding and even showed off his stellar muscles by hanging from the swing set.

Efron's ex, Vanessa Hudgens, has recently been making headlines as nude photos of the teen-star were leaked for the third time in five years.

Do you think we are so gullible as to believe he was just "hanging around" Manhattan Beach with no shirt on posing for the cameras? This is how it works: Boy needs publicity, boy has agent call paps and tells them where boy will be. Boy shows up, whips shirt off so everyone can call him the new Taylor Laughtner (whatever his name is)and hopefully he will get a part he wants to play that needs him to look like this.

Btw, you can have it. The smell of desperation is too strong for me.

You just have no idea. The boy is hot, and it is quite okay that he poses for pics...regardless of whatever the reason. Are you just a hater cuz you don't have his bod...sorry for you..He worked hard to get that body, and he has a right to be proud.
