Suri Cruise Grabs X-Rated Candy While Out With Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes was out with her mini-adult daughter Suri at Serendipity 3 in New York City this week, and the two were photographed with what seemed to be some delicious candy treats for the high-heel wearing tot, that is until you take a closer look at the box. These gummy candies weren't your typical Gummy Bears or Sour Patch Kids, instead they were Penis Gummies. An odd choice for a 5-year-old.

Between Suri's plastic heels and the Penis Gummies, these two were one tiara away from a bachelorette party. And although this photo really leads us to believe Katie purchased these for Suri, E! Online is reporting that it is in fact, false. Holmes didn't actually purchased the adult-themed candy for her little girl, and we are just going to have to agree.

Really Meaghan? You go to restaurants where they keep penis shaped gummies in their displays? Whether Katie BOUGHT the candy for Suri or not,the fact is she allowed her daughter to have them. My children knew that their penis was called a penis when they were five, so I would think probably Suri also knows this. Where were they that they had penis shapped gummies for sale?

Believe it or not it's a pretty fabulous restaurant in NYC...they are known for their frozen hot chocolates...gummy penis candy is not on the menu so how would she or anyone else know that it was there or within reach of kiddies?

Penis gummies are not "X-rated".

A penis is not x-rated.

A penis is simply human anatomy, and portrayed as art. A penis penetrating a vagina would be "x-rated".

How about we all FREAK OUT about a child seeing a novelty candy shaped like a penis. I'd be more worried about parents that let their children watch BET.

I think the point is that a child should not be eating a novelty candy shaped like a penis. Yes, a penis is a part of human anatomy. However, the society in which we live tells us that it is not appropriate to be sucking on that part of the human anatomy in public. Art? I don't think so.

Just a question - has anyone ever actually been to Serendipity??? If you have you would know that the waiting area is no bigger then 3 feet wide & the counter & walls are jam-packed with loads of things to buy...unfortunately or fortunately (depending on who you ask) much of this merchandise is tawdry & not appropriate for their kiddie customers...it is super easy for kids to pick things up...like the time my son grabbed the cool looking solar system shirt...that said "I like urANUS" ...TG he couldn't read yet...the point is it's not the parents fault the restaurant puts inappropriate things within the reach of kids...it's the RESTAURANT'S...put the blame where it belongs!!! What about the paparazzi for taking pix of a Mother & Daughter going out to eat...and stirring up a frenzy...stop jumping the gun & learn the facts before making judgement calls!!!

You know-in most places allowing a child to have penis candies would get Children Services involved with accusations of child sexual abuse. Guess the rich and crazy are different. Tom and Katie are lousy parents.

I feel sorry for the kid. She always looks like a rag muffin...hair never brushed and its always hanging in her face and for Gods sake PLEASE allow that child to wear a pair of shorts and some sneakers. She always looks she is dressed to go to church....enough...let the kid relax a little...

Typical of todays parenting or lack there of. This world of idots raising generation after generation, of spoiled brats is why this nation is so screwed up! Its only going to get worst. Pretty bad when a supposed to be adult is runled by a two yr old. You see it, or I should say "hear" it everyday, everywhere you go. Some idots fighting with a child over the word "no" Bring back old school...kneeling in corners, belts, switches or good old soap in the mouth. Most likely Suri got the male parts candy. Question is : why did her "mother" even have her around stuff like that?

While the photo neither proves nor disproves that the candy was purchased for Suri, I am concerned as to why the child would be somewhere such a product was sold in the first place.

Excuse me....WHAT kind of store has PENIS Gummies in the first place?? This kid is a total spoiled monster. I have seen her in public having a total meltdown when she didn't get what she wanted which Katie totally gave her once she tutned her head to acknowledge her screaming child. Katie seems to be looking right at the candy while HOLDING 5 yr old Suri. She doesn't seem to have a problem with it or she would have taken them away from her. I guess that was not an option because mommy doesn't know how to tell Suri NO!

The photo looks like it was taken out of context. It looks like they were in a store and Suri pulled the item from the shelf to examine it more closely, but never actually purchased it. Not that Katie Holmes should be taking her into a store that has those kind of items, but that's a big difference from actually buying it for her.
