Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Slams 'Glee' Creator: 'F*** That Guy'

While many chart-topping musicians have lent their time and talent to 'Glee,' Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl won't be one of them.

The rocker told The Hollywood Reporter that despite the show's success, he won't succumb to the pressure to have his music performed by any of Lima, Ohio's show choirs.

When Kings of Leon declined to have their hit 'Use Somebody' featured on the show, 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy announced, "F**k you, Kings of Leon. They're self-centered a**holes, and they missed the big picture."

Grohl says of Murphy's reaction, "The 'Glee' guy, what a f**king jerk," adding that he supports his fellow musicians who have declined offers to have their music showcased on the FOX hit.

After being approached by Murphy for the show, Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill said that while he had never seen an episode of the show, "We turn stuff down constantly."

"[Murphy] is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his f**king show... f**k that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do 'Glee,'" says Grohl.

"I watched 10 minutes. It's not my thing."

Why,because he shows himself to be a rude,foul-mouthed jerk? I guess Mr. Grohl has a short attention span if he can't bring himself to watch a whole episode before judging an entire series. Each and every Glee member has more talent in their little finger than Mr. Grohl will ever hope to have. Glee is doing just fine without you DAVE!

King of Rock? Not hardly. He's as nasty as Murphy. It is absolutely possible to handle someone not being a good sport about being told 'no' without stooping to the other party's level. He's another foul mouthed rocker who needs a shave, a haircut, and a clue. Foo Fighters? Phoey. I grew up in the height of Rock, and Foo Fighters are mediocre at best.

Karen, if you would have read the whole article, you would of caught the part where the shows creator was the first to say "F*ck you, KINGS OF LEON" therefore casting the first stone. Talk about short attention span. As for the cast of glee having more talent..... if that's the case why don't they write their own music? Have a good night.

Hell Yeah!!! Good for you Dave Grohl!!! All you Glee baggers can stuff it. Where does that Ryan Murphy get off with his feelings of entitlement....Dahhh I created Glee and you should be greatful that we want to use you songs .That show is stupid anyhow.

Grohl is just responding in kind to Ryan Murphy, who apparently has a less-than-polite vocabulary himself.

The show used to be better. Now it's just all big production numbers that a high school could never afford and Matthew Morrison showing off (like the teacher would put himself center stage??). It's like Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney putting on a show in Mr. Brown's barn, and having it be a huge extravaganza.

Ryan Murphy thinks his moderately successful show is saving the world. He's got a big head.

@ blondambition I don't care who does or doesn't like Glee. All I was observing was that his vocabulary leaves a bit to be desired.
SO save your ambitious tears for someone else Blondie.

FYI my favorite show is Fringe.
