Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper Split

After two years of dating, Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper have called it quits. Sources close to the couple tell PEOPLE that the high wattage Hollywood couple have broken up.

Zellweger, 41, and Cooper, 36, began dating two years ago and moved in together last fall. They met six years ago on the set of film 'Case 39' but only started dating in 2009.

Their reps have no comment on the reported split.

Earlier this week, Cooper stopped by Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show where he discussed his marriage to Jennifer Esposito and his overall feelings on marriage.

"It was just something that happened," Cooper said about his quick marriage [via UsMagazine.com]. "The good thing is, we both realized it ... Sometimes you just realize it. It just wasn't right. It's interesting ... things happen!"

When the talk show host asked if it turned him off of marriage for good, Cooper said that wasn't true. "Making any declarative statement [like that] is a joke," he said with a chuckle.

Well, that explains the puzzling reason why he was crying in a recent interview. I can't remember which program, but when he pointed out to Renee, who was sitting in the audience, he started to cry. I thought to myself - WTH?!

That was Inside The Actors Studio. And I think he was crying because he actually went to that school that James Lipton teaches at and he felt like he went full circle. It's exhausting to play armchair psychologist but someone has to do it! ;-)

Sorry to here that. Bradley is a true gentleman. I was lucky to work with him as an A.D. on "Jack and Bobby" years ago, and found him to be a true professional, and opposite the typical "Hollywood" actor stereotype ....just a Kool dude!
