Report: CBS Wants Charlie Sheen Back

If the prospect of 'Two and a Half Men' without
Charlie Sheen seemed like a weird idea to you, be assured that the folks at CBS were likely tying their stomachs in knots thinking about being one man down.
How do we know? Because, according to
RadarOnline, it appears that CBS wants Sheen to come back to 'Men,' with network honcho Les Moonves personally spearheading the negotiations to get him back.
"Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He's all for it," a network insider told the site. "He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie's done recently and just move on with the business at hand."
Basically, he wants his underlings at CBS and the folks at Warner Bros., the studio that produces the show and which fired Sheen earlier this month, to repair the fractured relationship between Sheen and producer Chuck Lorre. Jeff Rossen of NBC, whom Sheen called a
"rock star" after their infamous interview,
confirmed the negotiations from Sheen's side.
With buckets of money on the line -- not the least of which is the $100 million lawsuit Sheen filed against WB and Lorre -- it's pretty easy to try to let bygones be bygones in Hollywood. While a changed 'Men' might limp through a ninth and maybe even a 10th season, a Sheen-less show would not be nearly as attractive to advertisers and local stations bidding on the syndication rights.
There are still plenty of hoops that will need to be jumped through in order for this deal to happen, but the powers that be may have seen Sheen sell out his stage show -- including a night at the 6,000-seat Radio City Music Hall in New York -- and realized that even a loopy Sheen still has some serious draw.

Wow.. So much for puttin' their [CBS] foot down. Not that it matters, but after the narcissistic rants of recent weeks, legend in his own mind, pimps high ho's down mentality, I've had enough of this no talent hack, weak excuse for a man and will not be tuning in anyway... not that I ever did... lol So I guess the subject is MOOT.
(why'd I bother to post? Bored I guess).... Sorry Charlie

Another example of rewarding bad behavior. Is this the new norm in society? Glad I don't raise my kids that way.

How are they rewarding bad behavior? CBS knew Sheen was like this when they cast him, and they didn't have a problem with it then! Sheen has never pretended to be someone he is not, and since the mid 90's, he has had problems with drugs, alchohol, and women. If anyone is to blame here, it is CBS. If you know the stove is hot and you touch it anyways, the you deserve to get burned. Besides, they are not rewarding him for being"bad" they are paying him for his services. I have never seen where they had to show a rerun because Charlie put them behind schedule. He lived up to his end of the bargain, and deserves to be paid!!!
And to the MORON who said it is the writers and not the actors that make the show...I dare you to find ONE instance where a show changed actors after a few seasons and it went on to be successful...that's what I thought!!!
So the reality of the MONEY finally set in with CBS. Charlie Sheen will have to atone for his own demons at some point. Until then let the good times role.

CBS, listen & read what your viewers of 2½ Men think: KEEP SHEEN OFF the show. It's the writers that make the show, not the actors.

Now make sure you tell your kids this is how you get ahead in life..unbelievable.

CBS will enable Charlie's addiction just for the money. Good luck with that!

I can't believe anyone ever watched this show to begin with. It was written poorly and acted poorly but America seems to love these type of stupid shows(ie:reality shows)and the like. Sheen is an ego maniac (sorry loser!). He is mentally disturbed, drunk/drug addict train wreck that I can't believe (wait, actually I can believe-stupid people) are willing to pay to watch in a concert like forum???? Just make him go away forever. We don't need him. If any of you say you do, then maybe you should work on improving your own life rather than getting caught up in his garbage.

ric, I couldn't have said it better myself. Can't stand Sheen. He thinks the world revolves around him. and his "Godesses". Think they would be around if he had twenty dollars to his name and lived in a double-wide? Oh well, who knows. Considering their character I guess they probably would. I feel sorry for his children.
So they better get lots of tables and sofas and walls for Sheen to hang onto, when he does his scene's.That is if he can even walk on the set after the night before. So Sheen can just say and do whatever he wants and they want him back. Feel sorry for the rest of the cast. Yeah, he is a real winner..

The thing that bothers me with this whole Charlie Sheen episode is why his bosses are upset with him. As I watch the show I see Charlie Sheen not acting out a fictitious character that some writer made up but just acting out himself as he is and the character is exactly that...Charlie Sheen. Goddesses, tiger blood, trolls, adonis dna, the whole ball of wax. The problem is right under their noses. Has anyone read those "notes" or whatever they are called at the end of the two and a half men, written by the very man who is calling Charlie a nut case. This producer who thinks he is "a Stallion"! Whatever.

I'm disgusted with the behavior of Mr.Sheen, and as for CBS, I too will stop watching the show, as well as bycotting the advertisers for "Men".....Why do these executives reward such bad behavior???????
