Report: CBS Wants Charlie Sheen Back

If the prospect of 'Two and a Half Men' without Charlie Sheen seemed like a weird idea to you, be assured that the folks at CBS were likely tying their stomachs in knots thinking about being one man down.

How do we know? Because, according to RadarOnline, it appears that CBS wants Sheen to come back to 'Men,' with network honcho Les Moonves personally spearheading the negotiations to get him back.

"Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He's all for it," a network insider told the site. "He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie's done recently and just move on with the business at hand."

Basically, he wants his underlings at CBS and the folks at Warner Bros., the studio that produces the show and which fired Sheen earlier this month, to repair the fractured relationship between Sheen and producer Chuck Lorre. Jeff Rossen of NBC, whom Sheen called a "rock star" after their infamous interview, confirmed the negotiations from Sheen's side.

With buckets of money on the line -- not the least of which is the $100 million lawsuit Sheen filed against WB and Lorre -- it's pretty easy to try to let bygones be bygones in Hollywood. While a changed 'Men' might limp through a ninth and maybe even a 10th season, a Sheen-less show would not be nearly as attractive to advertisers and local stations bidding on the syndication rights.

There are still plenty of hoops that will need to be jumped through in order for this deal to happen, but the powers that be may have seen Sheen sell out his stage show -- including a night at the 6,000-seat Radio City Music Hall in New York -- and realized that even a loopy Sheen still has some serious draw.

It doesn't really matter, at this rate Sheen will most likely be dead within a year. Latest odds have a car wreck leading at 2 to 1 with an overdose at 5 to 1.

I will NEVER watch that show again or anything else with psychotic Sheen in it. Give's me the willys just thinking about it. Ick.

CBS is crazy to bring him back after everything being said and done (even his children taken away for him). I have no respect for this station and I hope the public doesn't watch this show and the rating sink so long. If he does go back, I hope he gets in trouble again and CBS and continue to deal with the Deadlock or whtever he calls himself with tiger blood. And he will be drinking and druing again.

I want my kids to see.

I really don't think your kids should have seen the show before all of this. It's always been geared toward adults so not wanting your kids to be exposed is really quite a strange reason for not wanting Sheen back!

Charlie Sheen is a mega-mind, jedi-master, super-wizard, from the 5th demension that knows exactly how to control people. He said he was going to "win" this thing, and he is doing just that. His first show back, "Two and half men" will have the biggest ratings of any single show in history. All of you haters will be watching, too. Now, Charlie can celebrate by getting a boat-load of blow and having a porn-star party! YOU GO CHARLIE!

If you feel that strongly about it, then don't watch ANY shows from CBS. You are all talk, you will be tuning in, just like all the other haters who are talking trash. You guys crack me up. All talk, no action.

Les Moonves doesn't have high morality....He cheated on and then lived with Julie Chen while he was still married to his wife. So what would you expect from him ? It's all about money and sex for some guys.

Money & sex....yeah....that just about wraps it up for me. I don't think you missed anything. How about you other guys??? Can you think of anything important other than money and sex?
