LeAnn Rimes Calls a Truce with Eddie Cibrian's Ex

Is the Twitter war finally over between LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville? According to Us Weekly, Rimes called a truce Sunday.

"As a collective unit, Brandi and I would like all negativity to cease toward one another," Rimes wrote on Twitter. "We have communicated and have a direct understanding that we are only ourselves on Twitter and have no other accounts that try to destroy one another."

The cease-fire in the infamous feud comes after allegations Rimes set up a second Twitter account to send hateful messages to Glanville. Rimes has denied any cyber-bullying.

Though Glanville didn't directly comment on the "truce," she re-tweeted Rime's statement to her followers.

"Please for our families' sake stop the hate now and let us live our lives," Rimes continued. "We don't need opinions or outside help in order for that to happen."

It was just a little over a month ago, when Glanville tweeted at Rimes: "I told Eddie to please tell you that I think it is highly inappropriate for you to sing in my sons class on Friday. Boundries!!"

Then Brandi added: "It's Mason's week share his family with the class. it isn't ur place.Let Eddie read a script. You are not his parent. RESPECT!"

According to the New York Daily News, LeAnn responded with "I have asked once and would hope my fans would please respect my wishes... Please do not retweet me anyone else's drama."

Back in January, it was alleged that the country star protected her Twitter feed to attack her fiance's ex-wife.

Amy Grindhouse has an account of that reported incident, where Rimes would allegedly tweet similar things that Glanville had already written on the social networking site.

The reason for the feud in the first place? Cibrian cheated on Glanville while they were married with Rimes in 2009. Rimes was also married at the time.

Rimes and Cibrian became engaged in December.

I often wonder why I don't see V J on any thing anymore? Could it be that people won't watch her for her political views or they just don't find her talented? Either way I must say I won't watch anyting she is involved in because she is hateful and does not practice christian values of love. My Christian God loves all people and remember he made man in his own image and he is perfect. So I guess you could say BABY WE WERE BORN THIS WAY. Get a life and do someting good for the brief time we are on this Earth. AMEN

All I have to say is why even argue over this man, he is disgusting. He thinks hes the "it" man, and I have to say he kindof makes me cringe, he is a lack of man in my mind. This man if thats what you call him has acted wrongfully and has a serious lack of morals, ladies I wouldn't waste my time with war of words over a man! One word of advice LeeAnn he cheated on his wife for you and I will say and bet he will do the same to you.

I think Eddie will be too OLD! Remember Lee Ann cheated too, so maybe its the old man who'll get cheated on! Two adulterers, what a couple. I guarantee Lee Ann will have a baby right away. Well, maybe when she does and Eddie has to share her attention, he might start looking for another teenager.

LeeAnn also cheated on her husband with him, so who's to say she won't be the one cheating on Eddie? If they marry , I don't think it will last very long. There is always another co-star who suddenly looks better than the spouse.

LeeAnn's ex-husband moved forward and already has a new fiance. Eddie Cibrian's ex also needs to move forward in her life (but be sure and have a good lawyer and get what is owed her).

It was probably easier for LR's ex to move on. They did not have children together. Brandi is stuck with E. She can't just move on. She has children to raise with him. LR should not show up for family day at the school. She should know better. Her ego is way out of control if she does not understand. They are not her children and she is not married to the father. Even if she does get married to the father, the children already have a mother. Back off LR.

If ONLY most of the posters here had never cheated on anyone, ever had a divorce, had an affair or ever maybe, just maybe, finally met and fell in love with their soulmate....Leave LeAnn and Eddie alone! Hollywood and music are KNOWN for musical spouses/mates and a heck of a alot worse so what's the big deal?

Eddie is a D-bag and so is LeAnn!! How WONDERFUL of HER to call a truce!! SHE broke up the marriage, that and Eddie is a D-BAG (see above!) he is such a pathetic looser and she is just trash. I give their marriage a year, he'll see someone else and dump her sorry butt, what she deserves!

The other woman could give a HOOT in HADES about the wife, so stop blaming the other woman, it was E.C. who discarded his marriage vows.
