Bruno Mars is a slick dude. And just in case we forgot that, a new GQ magazine photo shoot shows off the 25-year-old singer in some top-notch outfits as Mars gives a primer on pulling off a fedora the right way.In a quick interview with the magazine, Mars hits on typical showbiz platitudes, like "I keep it real," but he also seems genuinely psyched about his current success. "The last few months, it's been a rocket ... to Mars!" he says.
It hasn't all been smooth for the seven-time Grammy nominee, though. Although he wrote the hook to Cee Lo's 'F**k You' and has smoothly permeated pop culture, Mars faced a felony charge for cocaine possession in Las Vegas just last September.
"I'm not gonna preach that I'm a role model," he tells GQ. "I'm a f**king musician! But I've learned people are watching, so don't do nothing stupid."

Yeah, really. I was like 'what's that supposed to mean? Just because you're a musician that excuses drug use or other illegal activity?' Gimme a break.
He is yet another fowl mouthed no talent creep, Music in this country has gone down the drain, along with the so called talent,
@pk franklin:
He's evidently foul mouthed, but he's certainly not "No talent".
So if you're a musician it's ok to do illegal drugs? I think not. That is an infantile rationalization.
Bruno, you idiot, you may be a musician (MAY be) but you ARE a felon. So shut up.
He's terrific, human and made a mistake. Can't wait for his next CD.

YEAH, what Kenny said.
He makes me so angry! I hate him, even tought he has some talent.

He's not a musician, he's an opportunist.

Finally! Someone says it the way it is! He's not trying to be a role model, and most musicians ARE on drugs. Want a role model for your kids, try being a good parent. Need one for yourself? Then admire the people who you know personally who actually do wonderful things for others.

You are not a musician you are an ugly little PuertoRican who looks like a cross between a chimp and a frog. You are a drug addict you got lucky and you belong in jail.

This year has already started and a lot of crazy things happen.

yes he made a mistake. Get over it. I think his great. I love him

everyone makes mistake, so stop overreacting. at least he did not dodge the question but stated it in a humorous way. hopefully bruno mars will stay out of trouble for the rest of his career. he has a long way to go, and anyone who says he has no talent is either deaf or jealous. he CAN sing WITHOUT autotunes, unlike other crappy artists like kesha or jb.

I don't think he ever used "I'm a f**ing musician!" as an excuse for doing illegal drugs? At least from reading the article, it looked more like he didn't consider himself a role model - but a musician

Yeah, like lolwut said... I don't think he said that as excuse for his drug use. He said that 'cause he doesn't want people automatically using him as a prime example of a role model, simply because he's famous. He's just a musician doing what he loves and still making mistakes like every other person.

It's funny because the author writes as if Bruno Mars is his actual name "Mars will be sentenced..." HAHA
His real name is Peter Gene Hernandez
