Chris Brown was confirmed to perform on 'Dancing With the Stars' next week, but after a violent incident this morning at ABC's 'Good Morning America,' several top executives are demanding the 21-year-old singer be banned from ABC."Chris was so dangerous backstage that we called 911," a 'GMA' insider tells me. "He totally flew off the handle after being asked a question about his 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Now ABC has to decide if they are willing to let this man promote his music on a family show on its network or walk away from this obviously troubled young man."
During the 'GMA' interview to promote the release of his new album, 'F.A.M.E.,' Brown told anchor Robin Roberts, "It's not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I'm past that in my life. Today's the album day, so that's what I'm focused on."
Brown went on to perform a song before returning to his dressing room and tearing it apart.
"If the network doesn't care about promoting this thug, they should care about protecting its staff," a rival executive tells me. "This sort of behavior is not acceptable from anyone no matter how talented or famous they might be. 'Dancing With the Stars' is one of the biggest shows on TV, and if they do decide to allow him to promote his music on it he should definitely be asked to say sorry for throwing a chair and smashing a window."

I wrote ABC and told them I would not watch the rest of the DWTS season if they allowed him to perform.
Anyone ever hear of this guy, or Rihanna for that matter, before he tuned her up? Maybe his melt down was just a publicity stunt.
Chris Brown is a Kayne West wannabe.
ABC television WILL have Chris Brown on DWTS because they know that controvery means a ratings boost. Right Mr. Moonves and Mr. Sheen from CBS? Regardless of his previous abuse, nude pics and violent streak he'll attract another demographic they are trying to rope in. That's what you'd expect from a Disney owned network that calls itself 'family oriented'. Yeah.

Unfortunately for them, that particular demographic has a short attention span.
I think the network probably scripted the whole scenario for him..I think you'r right....ratings, ratings, and more ratings!!!
You could win a small fortune in Las Vegas if you bet that he will appear on DWTS. Solid money return on that bet.
rudewaitress, you are absolutely right on the money. The bigger the controversy, the bigger the ratings will be. People love a train wreck for some reason. Maybe because it makes regular people lives look better than what it really is. Americans are SO much about DRAMA!
I'm with rudewaitress, too. I also don't like Rihanna.
i will not watch dwt the night Chris Brown performs he is skum
Obviously this young man has anger issues. He should get help before he does something terrible that can not be undone. ABC should stay clear of him. He is trouble.

i don't condone any kind of violence.....with that being said this incident happened in 2009 he has not gotten in any trouble since then. he's said sorry multiple times and ppl. won't let in go that's got to frustrating for him everytime he try's to promote an album he has to once again defend himself. LET IT GO PPL. UNLESS AND UNTIL HE MAKES ANOTHER MISTAKE LET HIM MOVE ON WITH LIFE

I agree.....he was there to promote his CD. He has answered and re-answered many questions aout Rhianna.....we need to let it alone now. Like LeBron...leave it alone. Like Tiger..leave it alone and certainly like Charlie Sheen...leave it alone. Violent behavior is NEVER the answer, but I feel enough is enough questions about 2-year-old crap.
THANK YOU!! I am so tired of ppl saying all this crap about him, He is trying to move on and better himself and ppl just want to continue to bring him down. All he wants to do is his music. yes he was wrong, he knows that, we all know that! Let him be himself. Why keep bringing up the past, it was discussed both were interviewed, now its time for both to move on. And sorry but she damn sure knew what she was doing when she interviewed him, she kept pressing those buttons
he just made another mistake, stop making excuses for him. he went to anger management and got his decree (tee hee), said he was cured. liar, liar, liar your pants are on fire, lol.
I didn't watch the interview, but I was told that Robin Roberts kept pushing and pushing him. If he hadn't been so upset maybe he would have been thinking more clearly. He should have walked off the set and went out for some fresh air. He needs to learn how not to let people push his buttons so bad that he goes off. I don't blame him for this.
I Agree people(adults) are actingg like little children , like they never seeen someone act so violent before . He's stress ah would bee too !" But at least someone understand ! 2 YEARS . . .&&" Ppl still worrying about the situation . IF He Perform On Dancing Wihd The Stars , i would totally watch it , cause he the reason whyy . ah have never watched that show in my life beforeee .
Time to shut this unprofessional and untalented brat down.

Absolutely. I'm sick of spoiled, violent creeps and he's totally that. If we would all STOP supporting them, maybe they'd learn that bad behavior is just not acceptable. Clearly he can't treat a girlfriend with respect. He can't treat a network nor their employees and property with respect. I hope that ABC cancels him from DWTS. I will turn it off if I know he's on it.
