Chris Brown was confirmed to perform on 'Dancing With the Stars' next week, but after a violent incident this morning at ABC's 'Good Morning America,' several top executives are demanding the 21-year-old singer be banned from ABC."Chris was so dangerous backstage that we called 911," a 'GMA' insider tells me. "He totally flew off the handle after being asked a question about his 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Now ABC has to decide if they are willing to let this man promote his music on a family show on its network or walk away from this obviously troubled young man."
During the 'GMA' interview to promote the release of his new album, 'F.A.M.E.,' Brown told anchor Robin Roberts, "It's not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I'm past that in my life. Today's the album day, so that's what I'm focused on."
Brown went on to perform a song before returning to his dressing room and tearing it apart.
"If the network doesn't care about promoting this thug, they should care about protecting its staff," a rival executive tells me. "This sort of behavior is not acceptable from anyone no matter how talented or famous they might be. 'Dancing With the Stars' is one of the biggest shows on TV, and if they do decide to allow him to promote his music on it he should definitely be asked to say sorry for throwing a chair and smashing a window."

Sounds like he & Naomi Campbell should get together-- then they could kill each other --or maybe just their cell phones to see who gets hit first. I say DUMP HIM,ABC--he's bad news

I agree with Tave let it go people, he didn't throw a tantrum at anyone being, went back to his room and unfortunatley let it fly, he was frustrated, he doesn't need to keep talking about that and doesn't want to talk about anymore. His people need to tell them all, he will not answer those questions so don't ask. Poor judgement on his part but at least he didn't hurt anyone but himself

Forgot to add Charlie Sheen. Let's all bow down to CBS to making a drug addict with big time mental problems a winner.

Dear DWTS:
Yes, PLEASE cancel Chris Brown. I was shocked when I heard the announcement on last night's show; has everyone forgotten what Rihanna went through already?! That's a performance I would definitely FF through.

Chris Brown is young, and he's going to make mistakes and have trouble but he is barely grown up. What teenage boys don't have "anger issues"? People expect him to be perfect because he's attractive and super talented but no person is perfect. He probably reacted the way he did because he really is done with that part of his life and the past might hurt him emotionally and he's going to react negatively. His story and work inspire me and I'm glad he is in the game. I

I was already contemplating boycotting DWTS this season when they announced that Chris Brown would be performing. After his outburst this morning if DWTS goes forward with their decision and does have him perform they DEF. will lose me as a viewer! When is he going to take FULL responsibility for his actions and stop being the "victim." He needs to grow up and the media/TV shows, etc. need to stop condoning his actions and giving him opportunities because he CLEARLY doesn't deserve them!!!

Oh please RMBittner, Have you heard S&M and Rude Boy? Rihanna is a kink, she liked it!

I really think people are over reacting. Everybody has anger issues. People act like they Never done anything bad. Chris Brown has apologized numerous of times and I don't think he has to apologize for the rest of his life just to sell music. No one is perfect.

I am so tired of hearing ppl put Chris Brown down. Enough already, he has been trying to move on, get help, but how the heck can he if all ppl want to do is turn their back on him and bash him continuesly. She knew exactly what she was doing when she was asking him those questions, she was looking for ratings and not thinking of this young mans well being. What he did was terribly wrong, but he was not their to discuss Rihanna, he was there to discuss his new album. I would be pissed too. He is a very talented man, let him do what he does for crying out loud!

People, you need to leave the past in the past and let him move forward with his life. He paid his debt to society.

Really people Chris Brown is NOT a thug, he has did everything the courts have asked and all he was trying to do this morning is promote his new album, Robin as an anchor as Oprah said should leave touchy subjects alone and the Rihanna situation is that for Chris. The interview today was suppose to be about his music, and not his personal life. People need to let this man do what he is good at and that is make music.

Ghetto Trash strikes again .

Ghetto trash ?? you mean the anchor Robin for even starting it don't you? I mean Brown was there to promote his album, that was it, this GROWN woman stooped real low and brought it up. so yea, that was trashy of HER
Yes,get rid of him, no one wants to see this low life dirt bag on any kind of tv. Only ghetto trash would listen to or buy his music.

Same ghetto trash that made MJ who he is? or James Brown the Godfather of soul? yet he beat his wife on a daily basis, and MJ was accused of child molestation.
Lisa you must be ghetto trash.
No, the Ghetto Trash I am referring to is Chris Brown , he OK'd questions about Rhi Rhi before going on air. Chris Brown is finished in the industry now for sure. Next up...Kanye West , his days are numbered too.
No Jim I am not ghetto trash, so it is ok to call James Brown the God father of soul and bow dow to him every time he hits the stage? How many times did he beat his wife? and MJ, went on trial for child molestation!! Why did ppl have his back? But yet, this young man, younger then the two above, was very wrong in what he did, very wrong! He is trying to better himself! BUT who has his back? who is trying to help him? Who is in his corner? Then you have this reporter who kept on and on. After the first question you knew he didn't want to answer anymore, but yet there was her golden ticket, keep on asking, piss him off, etc.... Instead she should've been mature enough to know, ok let me back off, and go back to his new album.
