Chris Brown was confirmed to perform on 'Dancing With the Stars' next week, but after a violent incident this morning at ABC's 'Good Morning America,' several top executives are demanding the 21-year-old singer be banned from ABC."Chris was so dangerous backstage that we called 911," a 'GMA' insider tells me. "He totally flew off the handle after being asked a question about his 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Now ABC has to decide if they are willing to let this man promote his music on a family show on its network or walk away from this obviously troubled young man."
During the 'GMA' interview to promote the release of his new album, 'F.A.M.E.,' Brown told anchor Robin Roberts, "It's not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I'm past that in my life. Today's the album day, so that's what I'm focused on."
Brown went on to perform a song before returning to his dressing room and tearing it apart.
"If the network doesn't care about promoting this thug, they should care about protecting its staff," a rival executive tells me. "This sort of behavior is not acceptable from anyone no matter how talented or famous they might be. 'Dancing With the Stars' is one of the biggest shows on TV, and if they do decide to allow him to promote his music on it he should definitely be asked to say sorry for throwing a chair and smashing a window."

Lisa, Blah Blah Blah, didn't bother reading your ranting, whatever!
Yep Kanye is next!
Just thinking??? Shouldn't that kind of conduct be a probation violation? That behavior is unexceptable......

Isn't that supposed to be spelled "unacceptable"? Talking over your head again?
I doubt anyone on the show will want him around,he belongs in jail, not on tv.

Why is it that reporters and tv host think its ok to bring up old painful stuff thats past history. Then they act all surprised when that person gets fed up an snap! Rich, poor, famous, and not famous people are all the same. If you say the right thing anyone would get that way. At least he waited til he was back stage before he flipped. Find topics that are current and about something going on in the present. If not you get what u deserve.

I can see why Chris Brown was pissed. He agreed to go on GMA to promote his new album and has tried to shed his past and instead Robin makes the entire interview about his past. They should have never asked him about it in the first place.

I agree with those here who think this whole Chris Brown episode may have been at least partially staged for ratings. This season's DWTS cast is second- and maybe even third-tier "stars" at best; they had to do something big and a little bizarre to attract an audience.

Sure he had a right to be annoyed by Robin Roberts. But he didn't have the right to throw a chair through a window because of it. I wouldn't call him a thug- but a spoiled brat with anger management issues- absolutely.

I do not recall that a television show ever did what was right, only what they needed to do to increase ratings.

SEND HIM TO AFGHANISTAN THERES A WHOLE GROUP OF THUGS OVER THERE THAT HE COULD TAKE OUT HIS ANGER ON

Did Chris over react, yes. However, the purpose of him being on the GMA was to promote is new album, not keep answering questions about his personal life happening nearly two years ago. I think Ms. Roberts ambushed him and she has to take some of the blame. I think both Chris and Roberts owe each other and their audience an apology.

I like Robin very much but I think that he was goaded into that.
She asked him 2 time about the Rihanna incident he answered by saying that he was there to promote the album I guess after the 3rd or 4th time you respond that way to a question someone should get the hint not to ask it again. Just saying...

This guy should not be on any public media show.He should join the armed forces where there are many places where he can vent his anger. He has forfeited his right to be part of the decent human race.

He needs ANGER MANAGEMENT ASAP!

We will not watch if Chris brown is to perform. He needs to take responsibility for his actions. Just like a dog who mis-behaves, he will continue if there are no consequences for his bad behavior.

Maybe Chris and Charlie can get a house together?

I am so sick of that violent thug.
