Chris Brown was confirmed to perform on 'Dancing With the Stars' next week, but after a violent incident this morning at ABC's 'Good Morning America,' several top executives are demanding the 21-year-old singer be banned from ABC."Chris was so dangerous backstage that we called 911," a 'GMA' insider tells me. "He totally flew off the handle after being asked a question about his 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Now ABC has to decide if they are willing to let this man promote his music on a family show on its network or walk away from this obviously troubled young man."
During the 'GMA' interview to promote the release of his new album, 'F.A.M.E.,' Brown told anchor Robin Roberts, "It's not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I'm past that in my life. Today's the album day, so that's what I'm focused on."
Brown went on to perform a song before returning to his dressing room and tearing it apart.
"If the network doesn't care about promoting this thug, they should care about protecting its staff," a rival executive tells me. "This sort of behavior is not acceptable from anyone no matter how talented or famous they might be. 'Dancing With the Stars' is one of the biggest shows on TV, and if they do decide to allow him to promote his music on it he should definitely be asked to say sorry for throwing a chair and smashing a window."

I never knew he destroyed his body with those ugly tattoos. He is absolutely an immature, really ignornant, human piece of filth.

Just for all you Chris Brown lovers.. he approved all questions asked before the show (that's how television works).. so if he didn't want to bring up the past he could have turned down that question. He obviously thought his answer would boost his sales.. but instead his reaction after the fact ruined it for him. WAY TO GO BROWN! (wasn't buying your album anyway!!)

YES....HE SHOULD BE BANNED!!! ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME TV STATIONS BANNED PEOPLE WHO ARE BULLIES AND CREEPS. I'VE ALREADY EMAILED ABC ASKING THEM TO CANCEL HIS APPEARANCE.

i think chris brown is a michael jackson wannabee,, he will never fill his shoes,, nor michael's superstar status,,,

your right he can't be michael Jackson, he never had to go on trial for child molestation.
So Chris Brown is going to be banned while Charlie Sheen is reportedly getting his job back?....where's the fairness in that???

I am glad that Robin Roberts did not get hurt. This guy needs to be locked up.

Cancel him out......................

Not a fan of Chris Brown. However, He should have cut off the interviewer telling her this is the past and I have moved forward to a better place and not answer her questions since this was two years ago.( old news )He should have reminded her he was there to promote his new CD. I think he was caught off guard and lost for words became ABC's prey. His temper and actions were unprofessional, wrong and needs to seek therapy,ASAP!

OMG he waited until after the performance to go ballistic. sounds like a controlled burn to me. he had hoped to be past this dark time in his life. well, when you beat a person, you have to pay. control your temper, take a punching bag with you wherever you go. get help if you need it. thats our best advice. be happy if you can

After the BET awards I gave you the benefit of the doubt, when you broke down on stage. I Thought that incident w/ Rihanna was a one time occurrence. But now I see that once beater allways a beater.

There are a lot worse role models out there than Chris Brown. What about Charlie Sheen? Why does the public seem to think his lifestyle and the way he treats women are okay in fact so funny that they buy tickets to be entertained by him. Big double standard here.

There is no more accountability, reliability, respectability, morals, shame and character (try rapping with that....)in people anymore...(notice that I didnt say just men, that goes for you, too, Lindsay).
We have a choice people... change the channel on the radio, tv, stop paying for these sleazy merchandising, ringtones, rip off artists looking for attention...( who by the way, already made their money off of you... and this is what they do in return to their fans???????)...Give me a break!
Invest in yourself, your time, your brain, soul, focus on what you are all about, your family's future, education... how you can better the lives of others as a giving, intelligent, friendly being...you deserve to be good to you now.. its a new era... we dont have to pay into this creepy, whiny, so-called unloved, define me, rescue me with the media attention to make you more gulliable to pay more money to see them screw up again!
Be good to you, enrich the lives of others... look at what is happening to our world..we need to get our act together.. we cant afford over rich people banging their heads and for us to feel sorry for them, again, and again...I certainly dont call that entertainment or worthwhile to talk about... anymore.

He needs help? Apparently you guys didn't see that he's trying to move past what happened over 2 years ago. He said that all he wanted to do was focus on his new album, yet she kept pushing the issue of what happened. You can't keep stretching an old rubber band and not expect it to break. ALL HUMANS ARE LIKE THAT. Leave him the flip alone already. F.A.M.E= Forgiving All My Enemies

I don't believe it. he has a Decree from anger management. he, he.

for Maggie: this subject is about Chris brown not Charlie Sheen or Tiger woods.

My subject was about role models and Charlie Sheen falls under that as well as an example, so yes he can be brought up. If he does not want to be then he should behave and change his bad boy reputation. Can't have it both ways.
I have said everyone deserves a second chance, and this was Chris's second chance. Its crystal clear Chris has problems, and he has made them all by himself.
Chris is a little boy, wearing men clothes.
Theres no telling what he would have done if the cameras were not on. He was getting more mad by the minute, when he was being asked questions. This kind of guy, no man, just guy, is dangerous to all woman. Leave him, and his so called 'music' alone. Botcott this guy and his music, he will go away.
Forever.

Lord, people...it was 3 years ago that it happened. Maybe, just maybe he thinks it is time that people stop asking him questions about it. I certainly don't condone what he did, but if he has asked for forgiveness...leave it at that. God forgives and wipes you clean...why can't we be the same?? Give the boy some space to grow and get past the problems that he has had in the past...

GMA should be held personally/criminally/ and monetarily liable for any future attacks/beatings made by the hands of Chris Brown. For not prosecuting, they have enabled this piece of garbage to believe he is above the law. DWTS should NOT have this angry abuser on their show. And for the record...The interviewer wasnt asking about the 2009 incident..she was referring to the restraining order being lifted. HE then once again..shifts it back to WHAT HAPPENED TO "HIM" and how "HE'S" over it.NOT what he did to someone else...He isnt sorry for a thing..and most certainly will go on to abuse someone else
