'Dancing With the Stars' May Cancel Chris Brown After Violent Outburst

Chris Brown was confirmed to perform on 'Dancing With the Stars' next week, but after a violent incident this morning at ABC's 'Good Morning America,' several top executives are demanding the 21-year-old singer be banned from ABC.

"Chris was so dangerous backstage that we called 911," a 'GMA' insider tells me. "He totally flew off the handle after being asked a question about his 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Now ABC has to decide if they are willing to let this man promote his music on a family show on its network or walk away from this obviously troubled young man."

During the 'GMA' interview to promote the release of his new album, 'F.A.M.E.,' Brown told anchor Robin Roberts, "It's not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I'm past that in my life. Today's the album day, so that's what I'm focused on."

Brown went on to perform a song before returning to his dressing room and tearing it apart.

"If the network doesn't care about promoting this thug, they should care about protecting its staff," a rival executive tells me. "This sort of behavior is not acceptable from anyone no matter how talented or famous they might be. 'Dancing With the Stars' is one of the biggest shows on TV, and if they do decide to allow him to promote his music on it he should definitely be asked to say sorry for throwing a chair and smashing a window."

Several 'Dancing With the Stars' cast members have already told me they want nothing to do with Chris Brown. What do you think? Should Chris be banned?

ABC started it with the test to see if he was still harboring emotions about his past relationship. ABC invited the man to promote his music, Is he upset about an old relationship or ABC's double crossing tactics for rating.
Everybody wins here, ABC will get better rating, and Chris's music will sell like mad.

Chris Brown should be able to debut his music on the show.I would have flown off the handle to if someone asked me about some stupid mistake that happened over a year ago. Damn let the S#@t go. Leave him alone he paid his deed. How do people expect for him to move on with them bringing old things up. Thats jacked up that they instigated that whole outburst and then wana call the cops. What a bunch of losers!!

Yes, he should not have thrown the chair and gotten violent, but really. It was in 2009 and he answered Robins question over & over and TRIED to divert the attention to his music. She wouldn't let it go and probably had someone in her ear teling her to go deeper & deeper. The View does the same thing; those ear piece! :-)

I think he did nothing wrong. I would've smacked her in the face. He was there to promote his album not talk about what happened with him and Rhianna. She kept bringing up the story, that's because she's nosy. That's in the past other celebrities have done worse than him and they still love them. So give him a break. I'm not saying what he did was right but please lay the story to rest.

I feel that the questions by Robin Roberts, about the unfortunate incident with Chris and Rihanna were not necessary. They were meant to remind everyone of what he did two years ago. It had to be the lowest point in his life. He was there to perform and promote his album not talk about his past with Rihanna. He did pay the price for what he did. However, I do feel he needs anger management to be more in control, because the "media" is not going to stop asking the sensitive questions, especially if they know your weakness. Get help Chris! Focus on the positive, brush off the negative, and do apologize.

He can't sing and neither can Rihanna. If she was cute to look at,...she might be somewhat redeeming, but she's not even cute. Chris Brown should be shunned and blacklisted just like Kanye for being a talentless angry jack@SS.

ABC should definitely reconsider. I can't believe they were going to have him on this show in the first place. He hasn't really acted sorry and his statements seem contrived. This just proves that his anger is no closer to being in control now than it was when he decided to beat up Rihanna. What a piece of crap. Frankly, I feel that the media needs to leave Chris alone, if they wanna continue to bring it up, then Chris needs to start talking, and let everyone know exactly what Rihanna's role in the whole thing was. He's getting frustrated and irritated because he initially set out to protect her and her actions of what she did, thinking it would eventually go away, but alas, it's not. There was no excuse for what he did, but trust, she did her part as well, but no one wants to hear that. For those of you who dont wanna watch Chris on DWTS, its an easy fix, change the channel. At the end of the day, DWTS is gonna make their money, Chris will make their money, Rihanna will still act like she is mentally challenged, and I, of course, will still not give a rat's behind about Charlie Sheen..

Seems like DWTS wouild have enough problems with ratings after Brystal Palin. Most people I know will skip their favorite shows if Brown is on. Looks like they're trying to get their ratings to take a nose dive
