Looks like someone was taking his role in 'Broken Arrow' a bit too seriously.Employees at Australia's national airline, Qantas, are more than a bit miffed after actor John Travolta showed up on-screen in full pilot regalia to introduce their most recent in-flight safety video.
Travolta, who is a certified private pilot, tells passengers, "This is your captain speaking -- well, maybe not today," which Qantas employees have panned as "tacky" and "corny," in addition to being insistent about having a "real" pilot make the announcement.

Who do these employees think they are? It is not up to them what their bosses say or hire . They really feel entitlement that isn't theirs. Give me JT any day rather then those airline stews that neither brush their hair or teeth and who look like they are doing you a favor when you ask for something. Screw EM.

Travolta? He's always thought himself way better than he actually is. Marginal actor, looks aren't great (wears a toupee that fools no one) and is probably gay but won't admit it. Sucks up to people and organizations with power - Oprah, Scientology, and believing himself to be on a par with Qantas pilots. Incredible. He's just a great self-promoter. That's all he's ever been.
