Ke$ha Postpones Japanese Tour Following Devastating Earthquake

News of
Ke$ha postponing her upcoming Japanese tour doesn't come as much of a surprise. Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that ravaged the country and left the looming threat of a nuclear crisis, travel in and out of Japan is far from easy. But the news is probably still a disappointment for fans looking forward to an escape from the tragedy that has struck the country.
Ke$ha is one of
many western musical acts who have been forced to cancel or postpone tour dates in Japan following the earthquake. Her Japanese promoter, Creativeman Productions, who was responsible for pulling the plug, have also had to cancel their annual spring R&B and hip-hop festival Springgrove with headliners
Nelly and
Flo Rida, as well as Punkspring, their annual punk and hardcore fest that was set to feature
Good Charlotte and
Hoobastank.
In a statement released through Creative Productions, Ke$ha expressed her concern and pledged to help in any way she could.
"My heart is with Japan right now through this disaster and these hardships. I genuinely don't think right now would be appropriate timing for me to perform in Japan given the content and the spirit of my show, which is all about feeling exuberant, rowdy, and wild. I plan to bring my party there and to that part of the world when we are all ready to dance and Get $leazy together again. In the meantime I am going to do everything I can to help relief efforts and I encourage everyone in the world to do the same."
Ke$ha and Creativeman Productions plan on rescheduling the tour once the country gets back on its feet. If you'd like to help the Japan earthquake relief efforts, you can donate through the
Red Cross.

Cyndi Lauper did her tour in Japan
this last week and the people really
appreciated that.
Kesha is just like the rest of the young ones.
A Brand not an Artist.

People actually pay to see this twit 'sing'. I thought Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry could not sing live. When I saw Kesha perform she made them seem talented. These pop stars need to learn to perform. Who buys this crap...12 year olds?

She looks like something that Khloe Kardashian puked up, and Wolf Blitzer is not gay.

Wolf Blitzer is not gay, but he lost at Jeopardy to that moron, Andy from the Conan show. Khloe Kardashian is ofcourse ugly and disgusting. Wolf Blitzer may be gay and does not kow it - it happens - look at Anderson Cooper.
