Michael Lohan Arrested for Domestic Violence

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

TMZ is reporting that Michael was arrested last night in Los Angeles after ex-girlfriend Kate Major filed a report with the sheriff's department claiming the couple got into an argument that turned physical.

Police tracked down Michael and arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence, according to reports. It was also said that Major had visible marks on her from the alleged altercation.

"I can't comment," Major told PopEater's Rob Shuter. "I'm physically and emotionally in a lot of pain."

Friends of Major tell Shuter that she is a former reporter and knows "everything" about Michael Lohan. "He should be very careful," the insider says.

TMZ writes that Michael was taken by the police to a nearby hospital to get a check-up on an unrelated medical condition, but once released he would be taken to the station to be booked.

Michael had recently checked himself into 'Celebrity Rehab' to be treated for anger management issues.

A show insider was reported saying, "Michael wants to deal with his anger issues in a controlled environment. He wants to be a positive role model for his children, and he has a lot of unresolved feelings of anger toward Dina, and that needs to be dealt with."

Rehab is really working for him. The Lohan family is so screwed up. Nothing that happens to any of them surprises me. They all need to go away, and stay far away. Losers

Lindsey could have been a totally different person... Someone with values... If she'd only had better parents.... I think her mother is in denial and a nut case, I also cringe everytime I see her on TV... Maybe both parents should just stay away from Lindsey for awhile so she can get her life on the right track!

Again, Dr. Drew uses people for drama, to increase ratings. Some "patients" keep using, some die, some get arrested. Is it any wonder why there are no follow-up shows with success stories? California Medical Board, are you watching?
