'SNL' Alum Victoria Jackson: 'Muslims Kill Gays'

Former 'Saturday Night Live' cast member Victoria Jackson recently voiced her outrage over the same-sex kiss between Chris Colfer and Darren Criss on 'Glee,' and it seems she's not slowing down her anti-tolerance crusade any time soon.

Jackson appeared on 'Showbiz Tonight' to defend her argument against the portrayal of gay relationships in the media.

"I'm really concerned about our country because immorality is, well, let's see: Secular humanism rules the airwaves, and it's stealing the innocence away from this whole generation of children. My daughter is a teenager, and I cant find any show that she can watch," said the former 'Celebrity Fit Club' star.

In a follow-up to her statement that Muslim-Americans are "plotting our demise," Jackson questioned the "agenda" of media that promotes equality for all individuals, regardless of background. "I just want to know why the liberals are pro-Muslim and pro-gay," she said. "Muslims kill gays. That's what's confusing to me. And the only thing I can come up with is the Muslims hate God and the gays hate his word."

Despite calling the kiss between Colfer and Criss "sickening" in her latest post for conservative website World Net Daily, Jackson brushed off accusations that she is homophobic. "That's a cute little buzzword of the liberal agenda. Basically, the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin," said Jackson, although she later backtracked, saying, "I have gay friends, and we love each other."

When asked whether or not she thought there was any credibility to the argument that 'Glee's' portrayal of loving homosexual relationships might help kids who are struggling to be accepted, Jackson responded, "It's not helping. They should have a celibacy campaign and tell kids that 50 percent of teenagers now have this new STD from oral sex. That's what they should try to be doing instead of trying to make kids gay."

She continued, "This culture is affecting our children and making them run away from Jesus Christ. God can't bless this nation if we are spitting in his face."

Wow. Just kind of shocking that someone who came off of Saturday Night Live could espouse such sentiments. Of course, Dennis Miller is hardcore conservative, but this is ridiculous. God may not be the most 'tolerant' force in the universe, but I don't buy for a minute that he would make people gay (and yes, I believe gays are gay at birth), and then punish them for making them so.

And since when are liberals pro-Muslim?

Yeah, you go girl - far away, preferably!
Blast TV violence, video game violence, rap lyrics, internet porn and predators...these things that COULD harm kids. A kiss between two gay teens on TV is NOT going to harm them. Kids know gays exist (my daughter knows of several in her school) and this is just a reflection of reality. And it's not going to "turn them gay," they either are or they aren't.
Find a REAL issue to try to extend your fame with, Ms. Jackson; this is NOT it.

Ya know the bible was written by MEN and men make mistakes. If God is so against gay and lesbians then WHY did HE make them that way? Being gay IS NOT a choice!! I am not gay but I have alot of friends who are and each one of them have told me it is not a choice that they would have made for themselves because of the way they are treated. He who is with out sin cast the first stone. I guess no one will be casting any!!!!

God dont make gays people make gays. If God wanted them to be gay then he would have made a planet with all male or all females.

Heidi: Apparently you are unaware that it is a proven fact that there is a gene for sex and color however there is no gay gene. The "I was born this way" argument is invalid. God did not make them that way. Homosexuality is a perversion of love; it is not love.

Andi it is not proven either way, but would you choose to be gay? No I do not belive you would because of the stigma attached to it, but if there was none?

The hypothalmus of a gay male has been found to be the same as a straight female, humans get part of their sexual urges from this region of the brain, so if a straight female is sexually attracted to a male, then would not anyone with a straight females hypothalmus be it man, woman or child have a sexual attraction to males? We are born with our hypothalmus, so unless gays know how to do some sort of mental surgery, there is no way to make someone gay.

But it is who I am, and I accepted it years ago, and I am now proud to be ME. And how dare you question the love me and my partner of 14 years share. An argument could also be made for homosexual relationships in the media confusing the majority of our kids who are heterosexual. That's the way it is in our country. The minority special interest groups or those considered oppressed get special attention and mainstream media air time, while the majority have no rights and/or voicing their beliefs and concerns cost them jobs, makes them targets of retaliation and get's them labeled anti-whatever.

Are you kidding me? The media doesn't confuse straight people into being gay. I have never heard a single case of a straight person thinking they're gay because they saw a TV show or movie with gay characters on it.

When I was in high school, I loved watching movies that featured gay relationships, and I never once doubted my heterosexuality as a result.
