Will Brad Womack Be 'The Bachelor' for a Third Time?

With 'Bachelor' Brad Womack and Emily Maynard's relationship looking anything but secure, several ABC insiders have told me internal discussions have already taken place wondering if asking Brad to come back for a third run at 'The Bachelor' would result in ratings gold.

"No one ever thought Brad would be invited back for a second time after he rejected both women the first time he appeared," an insider tells me. "So it's not totally out of the question that Brad could return again if he and Emily stop trying to make this relationship work."

Fans were shocked last week to discover that the couple had already split since the show finished filming. Emily reportedly refuses to commit, and the pair canceled all their post-show interviews and continue to live a thousand miles apart, with Emily in Charlotte and Brad in Austin.

"If Brad hadn't found love the second time there is no way he would ever be invited back on the show," a show insider tells me. "But after America saw him try so hard to make his relationship work with Emily, they like him again. Everyone thinks Emily tricked him -- they feel sorry for him."

While Brad and Emily continue to decide if they are a couple or not, ABC can continue to reuse, renew and recycle, turning Ashley H., a former contestant, into the next 'Bachelorette' when the season premieres May 23.

Who knows -- the third time might be the charm for Brad!

I was thinking the same thing. Let him go find someone on his own. He probably goes on for the nice vacations.

Ok Rob. Last week you ran a story saying that said Brad and Emily had broken up FOR GOOD. As your "story" is running there are current pics of Brad and Emily together out in public. So that story was WRONG! Now you run a story saying Brad may be The Bachelor for a third time. How do you get away with making up these stories? I could care less about a reality show "relationship" but what i do care about is how you and other "writers' "reporters"or whatever you seem yourself can get away with writing fiction and running it as fact. Boggles the mind! Don't it just?

just my opinion ,however I think this show is getting to be a big money maker for the tv networks, if brad does another series I will never watch it again,thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion

Why do they think having that hot tempered dumb loser back a third time would beef up ratings? I tried to watch it like I used to but he got me so angry with his ways, I couldn't watch it weekly. I did watch the last two weeks and I kept yelling at the TV for the last two girls to run and hide. Getting the final rose from him was a waste of time. I used to think it was an act but he really isn't very bright and it doesn't take much to see he has a temper issue. Emily........don't look back just keep on going as far away from him as you can. As for putting him back on the show, he is a LOSER! There is no woman in America that you should inflict such pain on!

Enough is enough! Time to move on and forget about Brad Womack.
And maybe it's time to say goodbye to The Bachelor/Bachelorette, the show has run its course.

Could not agree more Diane-sounds like Brad is making a career from being on this show. Maybe he is intentionally picking bad choices so he can prolong his "acting" on this show. He sounds like Bret Michaels who did how many episodes of Rock of Love?? None of the relationships ever last after taping finishes-enough already.
