Will Brad Womack Be 'The Bachelor' for a Third Time?

With 'Bachelor' Brad Womack and Emily Maynard's relationship looking anything but secure, several ABC insiders have told me internal discussions have already taken place wondering if asking Brad to come back for a third run at 'The Bachelor' would result in ratings gold.

"No one ever thought Brad would be invited back for a second time after he rejected both women the first time he appeared," an insider tells me. "So it's not totally out of the question that Brad could return again if he and Emily stop trying to make this relationship work."

Fans were shocked last week to discover that the couple had already split since the show finished filming. Emily reportedly refuses to commit, and the pair canceled all their post-show interviews and continue to live a thousand miles apart, with Emily in Charlotte and Brad in Austin.

"If Brad hadn't found love the second time there is no way he would ever be invited back on the show," a show insider tells me. "But after America saw him try so hard to make his relationship work with Emily, they like him again. Everyone thinks Emily tricked him -- they feel sorry for him."

While Brad and Emily continue to decide if they are a couple or not, ABC can continue to reuse, renew and recycle, turning Ashley H., a former contestant, into the next 'Bachelorette' when the season premieres May 23.

Who knows -- the third time might be the charm for Brad!

Please already! Brad has a temper. I just broke off a 4 year engagement with someone very similar, controlling, can't smile, wants his way. Give me a break he is who he is and unless he makes the choice to get his anger under control, he won't be any different.

I find it interesting that his family asked if she had met the "Bear" yet.
Think about it people, give someone else a chance and these girls a break!!

Have never watched "Batchelor", but from looking at the pic of this guy, I should renew my memberships on some of the dating sites. This guy looks like a bum in a suit. What's with this modified Pee Wee Herman haircut and 3 day old growth of beard? Is that supposed to be attractive? Sorry, I'll just keep my clean shaven, no goatee, medium length salt and pepper parted hair & channel surf by "Batchelor"; but then that's my opinion.

Brad is one of the worst on this show....please do not put this guy on again. I use to enjoy the show. Ladies that think he is hot...he is not he is dangerous if he has such a bad temper. you can tell by the way he looks when he does not agree with one of the women and does not get his own way. I would never take a chance on this type of guy...

it is absolutely amazing how disgusting this batcheler thing is. have never watched it but the premiss is just plain ignorant. on the news i see these women are totally infatuated with this garbage. some of these people have very small minds. just get a life.

I really don't know If I could take another season of "let me give you a hug" or "I'm really falling for each of these women"...

Just don't know...and have you noticed, the two that really shine Trista and Ali...they were both bachelorettes...the only bachelor who has made it is Jason and that was with some drama as well!

I think the guy is a jerk. He bumbles around knowing he is on camera all the time, trying to look so perfect and is actually making a fool of himself. Bring him back and lose me as a viewer.

Brads has some serious female issues, wonder who the female was that broke his heart so badly that he became this messed up. that is the woman I would like to see go on the bachlerotte.
I know Brads response to this, "I think your letters are amazing, your a wonderful person" can you pick the catch words.
a person that uses catch words in most every sentence, yea Brad, its too obvious, get out the dictionary, add about ten more catch words to use in your sentences, because your way too repetitive.
one tip, be yourself, say what you think, quit using catch words, when the girl interrupted your date, you should of told her what you thought and not pulled out your catch word and put it in a sentence.

You've got to be kidding! The fact Brad was brought back the second time was unbelievable. Brad's family warned Emily about his temper and I believe after witnessing it first hand, Emily is very smart to be reluctant to expose her little girl to a step-daddy who would probably be a ticking time bomb. I don't think Emily "tricked" Brad at all, I just think he kept his temper in check during the show. It was obvious when she was questioning him on their last night together, he seemed about to explode then.

If the media would butt out and leave Brad & Emily to have a normal friendship/courtship, maybe they can work it out. Get out of their lives.

And I'm sick of Charlie & Lindsey. Enough already. If the media wouldn't keep these jerks in the limelight, guess what? We wouldn't care!!

The media needs to leave Brad and Emily alone and stop stirring the pot to try and sell articles. They obviously need some privacy. Ricki is 6, so she is school age. Emily is probably waiting for the school year to be over before she uproots her.

You have got to be kidding!!! I don't even watch this show with any regularity, but to have him back is absurd! He and Emily are both trying to stretch their 15 minutes of fame. Do us all a favor, let it be over and someone please tell ABC to cancel this ridiculous exercise in futility!
