Will Brad Womack Be 'The Bachelor' for a Third Time?

With 'Bachelor' Brad Womack and Emily Maynard's relationship looking anything but secure, several ABC insiders have told me internal discussions have already taken place wondering if asking Brad to come back for a third run at 'The Bachelor' would result in ratings gold.

"No one ever thought Brad would be invited back for a second time after he rejected both women the first time he appeared," an insider tells me. "So it's not totally out of the question that Brad could return again if he and Emily stop trying to make this relationship work."

Fans were shocked last week to discover that the couple had already split since the show finished filming. Emily reportedly refuses to commit, and the pair canceled all their post-show interviews and continue to live a thousand miles apart, with Emily in Charlotte and Brad in Austin.

"If Brad hadn't found love the second time there is no way he would ever be invited back on the show," a show insider tells me. "But after America saw him try so hard to make his relationship work with Emily, they like him again. Everyone thinks Emily tricked him -- they feel sorry for him."

While Brad and Emily continue to decide if they are a couple or not, ABC can continue to reuse, renew and recycle, turning Ashley H., a former contestant, into the next 'Bachelorette' when the season premieres May 23.

Who knows -- the third time might be the charm for Brad!

Haven't watched much of the show in the last several seasons. Didn't watch Brad the first time but did buy into the hook of 2nd time around. I thought this time was a bit over produced. Definitely would not watch him a third time. Not watching this next Bachelorette.

I have trouble trying to understand what is good about this show. Here is a man who is having sex with 3 different women in a short period of time, telling them all the same lies, and them believing it to the point that they cry when rejected. I guess they're in it for the money, because they can't possibly be so dumb as to think that he is really serious about any of them. He had sex with 3 women on the last show and rejected them all. So far his gunbelt has six notches on it. And you're asking if he should get another try? Sure, just ask any guy what he would do.

I, unlike most, who say they are going to stop watching, have ACTUALLY stopped watching. I did watch the ATFR show to see what was going on but for the actual show....ugh - I'm done. I mean how many more years can this charade go on???

emily should have never been on the show, shes still in morning and has a trust issue, i wouldnt bring him back, he needs to find love on his own, plus he has had 3 woman and has rejected 2 of them, and emily has her own issues to deal with.

Dear popeaters; Rob of the bachelor, and Brad Wommack: PLEASE will you publish this? I am from Adair Iowa, I dont think Brad should go back on television to find a wife. Since he is 38. He should look on line. I want to meet this Brad fellow, even if he is a monster of madness, and has a temper like a dog. I am probably too old for you being that I'm 49, but what the hay!!!
