Prince William and Kate Middleton have traded in the royal treatment for the Hollywood treatment, thanks to the upcoming Lifetime movie 'William & Kate.'The film, which stars Nico Evers-Swindell and Camilla Luddington as the prince and his bride-to-be, details the couple's romance leading up to their wedding on April 29.
William and Kate, who met while attending Scotland's University of St. Andrews, began their courtship in 2003, finally becoming engaged during a trip to Kenya in 2010.
Highlights of the upcoming film include a little hunting, a little drinking in the tub (careful, Kate!) and a whole lot of making out.

Personally, I don't think they had to make a movie from it. I mean, yeah, William is from the royal family, but I just think that it wasn't neccessary.

It just seems awkward to have such an intimate and probably speculative movie made about two living people. There are exceptions (and perhaps its because we've practically seen them growing up and dramatic seems to be out of the royal family's vocabulary), but it just feels wrong to watch this fake, personal look into their private romance. They have so few private things, why mess that up with what amounts to video fandom?
