Brad Womack's Ex Reveals His 'Scary' Temper to Life & Style
Brad Womack may have won Emily Maynard's heart on the most recent season of 'The Bachelor,' but all she'll get from him is heartbreak, according to his ex.
Womack's former girlfriend, Laurel Kagay, who dated the Austin-based entrepreneur on and off for eight years before ending their relationship in 2010, says that Womack's temper will ruin his relationship with Maynard.
"He would sometimes yell, really loud, to the point that he would almost start throwing things," describes Kagay of her relationship with Womack. "It was scary."
While Kagay was often afraid in his presence, she says that Womack would follow up their fights with apologies and lavish gifts, including over-the-top floral arrangements and pricey purses, until she agreed to take him back.
Experts have already
suggested that Womack and Maynard's relationship hasn't been the romantic courtship they would have the public believe, and even Womack
admitted, "It hasn't been a fairy tale."
Now, a source close to the pair says that their engagement will definitely be short-lived: "
Brad knows it's over," the friend tells Life & Style. "They're together at the moment, but Brad has the feeling he's about to get dumped."
Even if they stick it out, Womack needs to address his anger issues before it's too late.
"I just want Emily to realize that he needs some sort of help," says Kagay. "He can't do it on his own."

It was very clear from the show that he has temper problems. He was easily agitated whenever the women asked him very reasonable questions. I'm sure this is why his relaitonships don't work out.

I remember when Emily was questioning his intentions in regard to her daughter, and he felt offended by that, and even left pouting and upset that night. I can also sense a real time-bomb scenario with this guy and his temper.
Hopefully she sees it clearly, and she will dump him.
Ever notice how this guy can't just be 'normal conversational'? It's always this hyper intensity when he talks with ANYONE... and I think that is indicative of underlying factors that would lead to a temper of some sort. I can't see many people enjoying that personality trait and it makes you wonder if the guy has any true friends at all.

HE AND HIS FAMILY APPEAR TO BE DECENT PEOPLE, I WAS FAVORABLY IMPRESSED.

I happened to look up from my newspaper and see this guy. My wife watches this mess. I told her he has the eyes of a psycho.
Do you think there may be another woman out there trying to get her 15 minutes. So Brad has a bad temper. Maybe with Emily and her daughter it will be a whole different sotry. Don't you people think you could leave Brad and Emily alone and let them find their relationship!!! Thank you!!

I agree Betty. Emily even admitted the reason for the problems is the "spotlight"! And he has been sticking theu his therapy like glue. And if it was so bad, why did this "former girlfriend" stay with him for 8 years?? I think everyone deserves a chance...
Womack's anger flares....especialy when the show forces him to play for the other team.

Why did it take her 8 years to finally dump him for good? Too bad Emily didn't tell him no to the final rose, then how would he have felt being dumped?

As she said, she received purses and lavish flower arrangements. Some people will put up with a lot for a certain kind of lifestyle!
The last thing Emily needs is a relationship with someone who has an anger control issues. Her little girl is too important . . . a mother can't take chances with her future.

I read that ABC is considering a third round of Brad as The Bachelor, should this tryst fall apart.
Brilliant idea! Let us reward an abuser with more fame,money, and travel! Not to mention the copious amounts of booty he seems to be engaging.
He is dangerous. He is a time bomb waiting to go off, and any woman who has any sense of herself, should run not walk from him.
"have you poked the bear yet?" That is what his brother inquired. This "bear" is not cuddly.

The potential for a breakup will always be there when the show is aired and the young ladies involved see the encounters with the other women on the show. No woman likes to be "played" and it's hard to see romantic moments with another woman and then believe she's now the one and only. The relationship is doomed from day one.

THIS WOMAN IS A FOX !!!.. Goes to show you that Brad is the ULTIMATE GOOFBALL !!!... He dumps women left and right and then walks on them. Why would any woman want to put up with that? Its a mystery... its hysterical.. its... mysterical !!!.... I'll date his ex's !!!.. WOMEN. WRITE TO ME. I LOVE YOU !!! I'll treat you better than that peanut brained toadstool any day.

I agree. Just look at her photo. Looks like a glamour shot. She is trying to get her moment in the light. I am a girl and sticking around for 8 years, couldn't been so bad. And heck, Who hasn't been mad enough to throw things for god sake's. She didn't say he ever did, she thought he would. I hate haters.
if his temper is soooo bad why did she stay with for 8 years. It sounds like jealousy sticking its ugly head in to this.
