It looks like Brooklyn Decker is ready to step out of the lengthy locks, swimsuit model mold and try on an edgier role. The model and silver screen rookie took her hair to new heights, chopping off 10 inches, PEOPLE reported.

Decker shared her transformation with her followers on Twitter, praising the men behind her new 'do: "Chopped my hair OFF today!! Thank you!! I love!! @jasonhueman @tedgibson."

But the bombshell didn't donate her cover girl locks. She had us fooled as a natural blonde, but it sounds like even this beach beauty needs some artificial enhancement. "My hair was colored so I couldn't [donate]," she tweeted.

Ten inches may be all it takes to transform this swimsuit model into an on-screen leading lady. She made her film debut in 'Just Go With It' alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, and this new choppy 'do may be an indication of future silver screen roles to come.
