After news of Elizabeth Taylor's death spread Wednesday morning, fans of the screen legend took to social media to express their sadness over the loss. Taylor, who died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she had been hospitalized for six weeks, left an impact on her fans, and our Facebook followers had a lot to say about the star.Sarah Reynolds: I remember being a little girl and thinking, wow, that is what I want to look like when I grow up. So beautiful. Rest in peace.
Lynn R Franklyn White: So very sad. She was the epitome of true Hollywood class, always watched for her beautiful outfits & her collection of jewelry & she was a philanthropist raising so much money for the AIDS foundation. She started acting when she was very young & the first movie I watched & fell in love with her was National Velvet. She was only 12 years old. I'm shocked & sad for her loss so R.I.P. Elizabeth & hope your new journey brings you back in touch with all the ones you loved.

I danced with Liz Taylor in NYC after a Broadway opening given By Stephen Cohen (Studio 54) I worked with her on an AIDs funding project. She was one of the finest woman and person you would ever want to know in your life. SHe will be missed by thousands. Rest in peace now after a long fight for all of us here.
Much love

Please, please, don't make her into something she wasn't. She was an actress, who abused drugs and alcohol, swore like a sailor, broke up Debbie Reynold's marriage...an adultor...and had eight marriages!
I am glad she did some good things in her life, but she wasn't Mother Theresa!
you will be missed i loved your movies you are sooo pretty R.I.P

I will never forget seeing her in "THE SANDPIPER". For some reason or other the story line, the scenery, the entire movie enthralled me. She personified the little bird, adding joy and peace to me as I watched her. May the angels give her the joys and peace she did not have while with us, and usher into eternal happiness.
