'Boardwalk Empire' Star Arrested Following Alleged Assault

Actress Paz de la Huerta, best known for her role as Lucy Danizger on HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire,' was arrested in her hometown of New York City on Sunday after allegedly assaulting Samantha Swetra.

De la Huerta reportedly started the attack on Swetra, who some may remember from Whitney Port's now-defunct reality show 'The City,' after things became heated when de la Huerta allegedly began flirting with Swetra's male companion at the trendy Standard Hotel.

De la Huerta reportedly became incensed when Swetra made a crack about her being drunk, throwing a glass at Swetra and punching her in the face.

Pieces of the glass, which shattered, became embedded in Swetra's leg. Lindsay Lohan, who was reportedly on scene, aided Swetra while de la Huerta was led out by hotel security.

Swetra filed a police report with her lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, earlier today. De la Huerta is scheduled to appear in court April 18.
