Those charming souls at Westboro Baptist Church have chosen Elizabeth Taylor's funeral to be the site of their next publicity stunt, a daughter of WBC Pastor Fred Phelps has announced. In post after post on Twitter, Margie Phelps chortled condemnations to members of the media who were sending out tweets regarding Taylor's death and she promised that the congregation -- mostly folks with the last name Phelps -- will picket the funeral.
"Her whoredoms enabled filthy f**s! She now answers for her gr8 sin in hell!" she tweeted to Perez Hilton. To ABC's Jake Tapper, she wrote, "No peace for whore who taught proud sin! Too late for her to repent!"

Doesnt this "Church" have anything better to do than to cause a ruckus? This is worse than cyber trolls, these are trolls in real life that actually want to cause a stir and give real churchs a bad name, I dont know which church, but they shouldnt even consider themselves anything other than a troll gathering. As I said above, theres an idiot born every minute and this is a prime example of idiocracy. Maybe when one of those Phelps family members die, maybe someone will get the idea to protest their gathering and count their family member gay or worse? People have no life whatsoever if thats their whole mission.

Honestly don't think Liz would mind.
All you people need to get a life. There are a lot more bad things going on in this world and country than these Westboro folk and my guess is you haven't even noticed and even if you did, you'd probably turn and run.
I do agree to what you are saying 100% I only would like to add that they ought to read the bible further, to where it says "judge not lest ye be judged first." I can't quote the book part that it was written. Also Jesus Christ said when they were about to stone Mary Madgelen to death He said " He who is without sin cast the first stone" These people have a tendency to forget these quotes from the Bible and it applies directly to them. I am refering to the Phelps family.
John, you are as bad as the Westboro group. These people condemn and blaspheme funerals of soldiers who lost their lives defending our country. They are a hateful disgusting people and if the G-d above looks down on them at this or any funeral where they are picketing at I hope it is with a bolt of lightening that strikes them all....
No they have nothing better to do. They all need to crawl under a rock and crook. I guess they think they are better than God. HIV/Aids has been around longer than this group of idiots. What rock did they crawl out from. They are disgusting.
The only people who will be rotting in hell are the members of the Westboro Baptist Church. If you disagree with a person, disagree with them in life. To lack the decency to allow people to bury their dead in peace is disgusting. Elizabeth Taylor was beautiful in both body and soul. The angels were waiting for her when she left this world.
I have always wondered - If that church has, as I have heard, just a small membership, where do they get the money to travel all over the United States to picket at all our brave soldier's funerals? Last I checked, it was not cheap, what with the cost of fuel, lodging and meals.
The fine folks at the Westboro church are of the "have their cake and eat it too" variety. They're "Christians" (so they claim) but they think because they "believe," that gives them the right to throw stones at others who don't believe the way they do. In reality, they should worry about their own souls and where they might be spending eternity after they exit this life. I'd be very surprise to find any of them in the wings and harps division and not the least bit surprised if to find them wearing asbestos suits. Given that it appears that the funeral for actress Elizabeth Taylor is being held today at 2 p.m., my guess is the people of the Westboro church won't make it in time for the services.
It never ceases to amaze me how supposedly religious people can be so unbelievably hateful.

They are not religious, they are fools and bring a bad name to true Christians who love unconditionally.
The Phelps clan represents the worst in our society. Unfortunately, They are not alone. It appears that the so-called Rev. Phelps has some deep guilt stored in his wretched soul, and he has simply lost it. Ignoring these fools would be the better choice; unless of course, they choose to invoke harm on others.
It could be another Waco.
how can they be allowed to protest
this is not what god stands for.
he only teaches good not hate and evil
those people will be the ones burning in hell
god bless you Dame Elizabeth Taylor the world has lost a fabulous angel rest in peace you will be missed and never forgotten

I hope the services and related info is kept secret. Let these un-religious hate mongers picket somewhere that won't effect the family.

Maybe this will be the protest that finally gets them stopped. We can only hope.
Not to worry. In the end it will be Phelps and their ilk that will end up in hell!

I would love to be there on their day of judgement when they must stand before God and explain (if at all possible ) their sick views and twisting of Gods word.
They are all truly sick, sick people, more than words could ever describe.
They are a disgrace!!

These people don't surprise me anymore.

The last time I checked, being gay and/or having aids/hiv wasn't a deadly sin. Pride on the other hand is. To place yourself above another by judging them is just as much a sin as murder. God does not hate anyone. God may not like the things we do, but he loves us all the same. WBC must have lost those pages.
I am a Baptist myself, the actions of this family are disgusting to me, but to give them attention is to feed their flames. Turn the other cheek. They will be judged for their actions with the rest of us.
